It's the last day of 2007.

WoooooooooOoOoOOOOHOOOOooOooOooooo!!!!

Are you woohoo-ing too?

If you're not, I think you shld. I don't know how 2007 was like for you, but it was pretty good on the whole for me. It felt good turning 21, but I imagine the space of time left to 22 will be lots more 'happening', as it is now.

I hope you had a good year. If it was shitty, you probably need changes done to your life. Or maybe, you're just down with some god-awful luck.

Whatever it is, Happy 2008.

:)

---------------------------------------------------------------

My christmas began at New Asia Bar. Strange, there wasn't a huge crowd of merry-makers. Yeah we did have a slightly hard time finding a table, but you cld see every single person's face and outfit very clearly, eliminating the need to squint and do weird head twists. We did have fun, tho.

Christmas Day saw me at the airport with my family.

I think I have mentioned this before and I will again; Popeyes bloody rocks socks off. You have not lived till you've tried their mashed potatoes with their (totally sodium bicarbonate-ed)buttermilk biscuits. Hea-VEN.

My new white pants are quite unlucky, y'know. First time wearing them out was Christmas and I got coke spilt all over me. Not all over my black top, nope; alllll over my spotless, pure white pants. I was a terribly good sport tho, and accepted my accidental pants-assaulter's packet of tissue and profuse apologies with smiles and "it's ok"s. The counter guy at Popeyes gave the lower half of my body a very genuinely pained, sympathetic expression.

Yesterday, when I got home from the movie(I Am Legend rocked MY socks off) with Jay, I was admiring my white-panted ass in the mirror and to my dismay, spotted awful yellow stains on my left arse cheek. Upon closer inspection, they proved to be curry stains, which I probably got by seating myself comfortably at the obviously not very clean curry house we had dinner at.

GRRR.

If they get stained the next time I wear them, I'm pronouncing them frikkin unlucky and will nvr wear them out again. Yep.

Madhu baby and I. In my new pair of glasses!

He was in a really festive mood.

Beautiful.

Beautiful too! :-D

--------------------------------------------------------------------

If you knew me at all, you'd know that I'm a big fan of The Kinks. Here's a song of theirs that I'm currently into.

Big Sky looks down on all the people looking up at the Big Sky.
Everybody pushing one another around
Big Sky feels sad when he sees the children scream and cry
But the Big Sky is too big to let it get him down.

Big Sky too big to cry
Big Sky too high to see
People like you and me

One day we'll be free, we won't care, just you see
'Til that day can be, don't let it get you down
When I feel that the world is too much for me
I think of the Big Sky, and nothing matters much to me.

Big Sky looks down on all the people who think they got problems
They get depressed and they hold their head in their hands and cry.
People lift up their hands and they look up to the Big Sky
But the Big Sky is too big to sympathize

Big Sky's too occupied
Though he would like to try
And he feels bad inside
Big Sky's too big to cry

One day we'll be free, we won't care, just you wait and see
'Til that day can be, don't let it get you down.

It's called Big Sky, ofcos. Interesting, innit?

I am soooooo glad Kay's ok, and enjoying herself immensely too! I have concluded that overseas travel with colleagues shldn't be done, unless absolutely needed. Ppl behave differently in different settings, and professional relationships shldn't be sujected to potential wreckage. *nods in a hopefully wise manner*

Wah, I miss her ah! I read her blog and cld almost hear her excitedly talkin abt her experiences, with a lot of 'heyy!!'s and 'yeeeeaahhh's. Too bad I won't be free to receive her at the airport on Sunday. Work. Oh well.

Too bad lor.

*giggles*

Call me when you read this! You and your useless line/phone.

Speaking of Sunday. My mom's called a few relatives over for a post-birthday celebration for me. I didn't want it, initially, but once my mom mentioned the possibility of me getting cash presents, I realised that entertaining on Sunday night's a duty I have to do, as a family member. Yeep.

Oh, Jay's family is invited, since they weren't at the chalet party. Can't rob them of a chance to give me a gift, can I? My mom agrees.

Can't wait for christmas eve!! I wonder what I shld wear. Just got a new pair of white jeans, and white heels too. I shall try dig up some top that's green or red. Or both!

Weeeeee!!!

Thursday, December 20, 2007

I told Jay I'll be going offline like, a few min after he goes off(which was 12+am) but here I am still, slightly sleepy and sadly, not high at all.

Vodka and rose syrup don't make a good drink. Honestly. I'm finishing it up cos there's vodka in it and there's no point wasting perfectly good Smirnoff. And it helps to a certain degree that the drink's a deep, gorgeous vibrant pink.

Babu was online and he felt the need to help relieve me of by boredom my getting me to write a testimonial for him.

You know what's coming next. And ofcos, here it is;

And then ah, I give you this thing hor. Cos I'm like, damn bored.

Sigh.

J- Jelly wld fall off if made to sit on your head on a big plate cos your head ain't flat.
A- African-american, you are not.
Y- Yasmin is my hindu cousin and I bet you're damn confused abt that now.
A- Auvai paatti was this good old lady who wrote stuff that you probably had to memorise in primary school. I dunno if you enjoyed it, I didn't.
P- Pigs might fly, but you nvr will.
R- "Raamaayee vaisukku vanthutta!" That's a line from an old movie.
A- Ass. You know I can't resist the use of that word. That's why there're so many 'A's in your name.
S- Sentosa! I miss it. Bunch of us go once your leg's ok?
A- All my ideas for 'A' have been used up.
D- Dhanya!! That's the best 'D' word/name there is.

:-D

He didn't approve of it, tho. Told me to write him another, simple one-worders, and more truthful this time. I wasn't in the mood for being nice so all I cld come up with were stuff like jackass and asswipe so I gave up, esp since he had a 5min time limit for me to prove my intellect/imagination/creativity.

*rolls eyes*

I feel like watching a movie and falling asleep on the sofa. It's a luxury that I can afford now, since there's no work tmr, aaand, cos I got my new glasses and don't need to depend on uncomfy contacts for sight. They're pretty, and kinda similar to my old ones. Nothing can beat the oldies tho. Sigh. How I miss those cow-like designs.

Bah.

Here's a pic of the old ones.

You can't see the white and black designs at the sides much in this image, sadly.

This is my new pair. I just got this super unclear pic taken, for immediate posting. Yeah, it looks good. Just not as good as the cow pair. Oh well.

I'll miss you always, Cowframes. R.I.P.

I am now 21.

I don't feel like talking much abt how it feels and all my concerns cos my worries bore me. I am happy tho. Really happy. I'm finally 21 and despite all that I've not achieved, I feel a sense of contentment. That's not to be confused with complete satisfaction, tho.

I've been looking forward to so much and now, I just feel like there's more to look forward to. While I have the time of my life, ofcos.

Simply put, I'm lovin' it. (da-da-da-daa-daaa) :-D

------------------------------------------------------------------

Didn't go to Malaysia afterll. Passport's expired and the dad pointed it out to me 20 min after I was absolutely ready, dressed and packed and raring to go.

Not farny ah.

Blardy Ilyas had a ball of a time laughing at me. He actually called me up, laughed a bit of ass off, and got me to call him back, and managed to laugh his entire posterior off. I've nvr heard him crow that hard before! It seems, if the same thing had happened to any other friend of his, he'd be sympathetic. But it happening to me somehow makes the whole matter frikkin loads funnier.

-_-

He felt it neccessary to embarrass me further, this time publicly, so he came up with this little gem to leave as a comment on my friendster profile;

This is an urgent msg from Singapore Immigration & Registration department(SIR).

Attn: Miss Dhanya

It has come to our knowledge that your passport has expired. MORE importantly, it is well documented that you realised it just before your travel out of Singapore( wahahahahhahahahahaha!!)

ahem... so pls do renew ur passport so that this hilarious... i mean, this incident does not occur again.. or will it? (wahahhahahahahahhah)

Yours truly,
*****

:D

I replied. Oh diiiiiiiiiid I reply!

This is an urgent msg from the office of Ms Dhanya.

Attn: Mr. Frikkin 'A'

It has come to our knowledge that you lack intellect. We urge you to have your skull filled at the nearest gas station. Due to the abundance of space to be filled, and exorbitant oil pricings, we are willing to cover the cost.

There is no need to thank us as in fact, we believe your agreement would be a favour to us.

Our gratitude is yours, in advance.

Yours truly,
@&#(&@&&^@@

HUR!!!

Christmas eve will be at New Asia Bar for me. I don't think there's a bar that's more suitable for celebrating the birth of christ. (Hahahaha.)

Who's in?

Sunday, December 16, 2007

Sonia baby sent me this email.

When you have a 'I HATE MY JOB' day try this:

On your way home from work, stop at your pharmacy and go to the thermometer section and purchase a rectal thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson . Be very sure you get this brand. When you get home, lock your doors, draw the curtains and disconnect the phone so you will not be disturbed. Change into very comfortable clothing and sit in your favorite chair.

Open the package and remove the thermometer. Now, carefully place it on a table or a surface so that it will not become chipped or broken. Now the fun part begins. Take out the literature from the box and read it carefully. You will notice that in small print there is a statement:

'Every Rectal Thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson is personally tested and then sanitized'.

Now, close your eyes and repeat out loud five times, 'I am so glad I do not work in the thermometer quality control at Johnson & Johnson.'

HAVE A NICE DAY AND REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE WITH A JOB THAT IS MORE OF A PAIN IN THE A** THAN YOURS.......................

I love my job and its ice-cream perks!

------------------------------------------------------------

Off to JB, I am. Shld be leavin like... 9 or 10 pm, and will probably be back arnd the same time Monday or early Tuesday.

Hope the spectacles sold there are cute and more importantly, inexpensive. I got contacts from M'sia once or twice but honestly, altho the brands might be the same/similar, the quality is darned low. And they're cheaper only by... SGD15 maximum.

I look foward to seeing my muslim relatives! They give out vibrations of genuine happiness when my family visits, and I love it. I've blogged abt them and how they're muslim while I'm hindu before, like, yonks back. See! (the past 3 yrs have made me less lame, so pls don't stop reading my blog after you visit this link)

My family lacks good relatives to trust cos honestly, almost all of them seriously suck. Really. My father's side is filled with dysfunctional families/ppl. Funerals and functions and death bed visits are always superbly entertaining.

Aaaanyways, my malaysian relatives are pretty good as a whole, so I'm happy to brave the Sunday crowd at the customs to see them. Sounds kinda romantic, doesn't it?

The only somewhat romantic experience I've had there wld be my very first kiss. I was... abt 6, I think, and my 'kissing partner' was a 5-yr-old cousin. We were playing hide & seek with his younger brother so he used that excuse to lead me into a cupboard, and gave me the naughtiest smooch. I was, ofcos, absolutely stunned! He chuckled and opened the cupboard door to find his brother pointing and laughing at us. They both then laughed their way out of the room.

Men.

Oh, by the way, my cousin's a hottie now. He's got this handsome, serious-looking pretty tradional indian muslim man thing going on. Yeeeep.

Ah, must get back to preparing the stock files. I'm beginning to kinda like working on Sundays, esp since my Mondays and Tuesdays are free. And I'm perfecting the art of having very little sleep on Friday and Saturday nights AND smiling while surviving it. Can't wait to start on my course to get busier!

Y'know, doing stuff is more fun than doing nothing at all. :-D

Apparently, I've to be 21 to subscribe to international roaming. I'm not old enough, even tho there're like, only 5 days to my 21st birthday.

Is there a campaign going on against overseas travel by under 21s, that I'm not aware off? Starhub's supremely stupid, I tell you.

The use of the word 'supreme' has reminded me of chicken supreme pizza. I'm hungry!!!

Aaanyways, I need my roaming activitated cos I'm going off to Malaysia this Sunday and will be back on Monday, or Tuesday, latest. Jay says he wants me to stay contactable for 'lou-sing' and the only way I can do that is by topping up my pre-paid line. And using it, ofcos.

Oh oh, Starhub prepaid cards don't have any rules or requirements for international roaming, according to the customer service officer that I spoke to. Lotsa pre/mid/late teenagers that I know of use prepaid lines. Don't those (generally) mischief-prone ppl have to be stopped from running away overseas?!?! Doesn't having a post-paid line mean you can afford it and are probably a gainfully employed, mature adult?!?!?!

Ahhh. Silly.

Life, as I know it, is over!!!

I broke my nail. :(

I'm counting down the hours to my appointment at a nail place at United Square itself. Sadly, it has to be an express manicure, cos Jay'll be here arnd 4.30pm and nail-fixing will only start at 4.15. Oh well.

I broke my nail. :((((

Escalators and the metal base the moving belts are on suck. Suck suck suck SUCK!!

Good news!!

I've decided to love my body. WHOLLY.

I've not been very secure abt my appearance, esp for the past year. That's changed now, not only cos I've lost some weight, buuuut also bcos it's stupid to not love what's mine.

If I cld entirely accept faults in ppl that i love, why can't I accept something far less problematic, like the way my body looks? Actually, I look pretty alright to me. And the bod looks way more than alright to Jay. I shldn't complain.

I'm not fat, and I freely admit it now!

Doesn't mean I'm gonna stop watching what I eat tho. I think everyone shld watch their diet. Don't like, go on a diet, but just be careful; got to eat in moderation. Cooos, you nvr know when your favourite dish is gonna shit on you.

Not as much cheese for me! And chocolates. And rice. And potatoes. Sigh. Oh well.

Moving on to more interesting things (or not), let's talk abt the party.

It was alright, I guess. It was altogether fun, but it was kinda badly planned and there was some tension going arnd. And twinnie had to leave at 12midnight which was when the party actually started, cos we cldn't really drink openly with twinnie's dad arnd.

Babu and his 'adult' ideas for forfeits. *rolls eyes* I got a lapdance from Kay tho, so I'm not complaining much. Weirdly, the bottle nvr pointed at me. I'm almost disappointed.

:(

I had to be at work at 9 the next day!! I have no idea how I managed to be up on time, really. Vel and Nan dropped me off at United Square, and that helped alot. I love that couple.

The rest were at the chalet and twinnie went over in the afternoon only to leave at 7, which is when I actually finished work. *rolls eyes even more* When I was back, only Jay and his family were there. Oh oh oh, Jay and his mom did ALL the washing up and packing for me. All I had to do was make sure what was packed was indeed mine or twinnie's and not the chalet's.

She likes me enough to do my work for me in my absence. Ah, I love her too!!

And Jay, ofcos. :-D

Sigh.

The whole chalet thing's left me feeling kinda empty. Like...un-fulfilled. I'm itching to have a REAL party. Or a holiday. Suggestions?

Ah, I must go. My mommy misses me.

Tuesday, December 4, 2007

The party's only 4 days away.

Oh, and I love the diet I'm on cos it's working!! More on that later!!

I'm such a bimbo!!

BYEEE!!!!

Wednesday, November 28, 2007

Ah, this one was independent. He insisted on going to the boy's toilet and that he can handle himself. I was standing outside the men's only long enough to get a weirded-out look from a middle-aged man when my boy came out. Upon being suspicously asked if he's washed his hands, he gave me the cheeekiest smile.

I love kids!!!!!!!!!!!!
A kid needed to pee and I had to bring him to the loo. I've nvr had to do anything like that at work before, which is so saddening cos I loved it! Itty bitty birdies are soooo adorable!!

Oh, and now, another! I shall be right back! Weeee!!!
I've lost the best pair of spectacles I've ever had in my entire life.

Whoooop-dee-dooo, yah?

My beautiful black frames with black and white sides. The perfect balance between funky and nerdy and whatever's not good in excess quantities. Some ah pek is probably wearing them now, scratching his arse to some cha-cha beat.

Sigh.

See, I was staying over at my sister's flat in chong pang last saturday. Sunday morning, we went down for breakfast, and I was having my itty bity nephew(the chubbiest little backside ever!!) on my hips and since my glasses were at such easy reach for him, I stuffed them into my pocket. After breakfast, we made our way to the barbershop to have Appu's hair cut. I wanted to see the whole process of it and felt myself for my trustly spectacles only to, ofcos, not find it.

My sister did a back-track of sorts with me thru the hawker centre and market. I asked the weird deaf-mute cleaner lady and the ppl at the drinks stall. I looked up to the skies and asked god to give me a sign as to where the fark my glasses were.

I got nothing, ofcos. Except for weird stares from middle-aged indian women.

I'll be getting a new pair in a month or 2. I might be able to afford them sooner, but don't want to. I'm absolutely fine wearing my contacts.

Ah, my eyes ache and I want these damn semi-circular plastic shits off my eyeballs!!!

Gotta be up at 8am. Jogging! Hope my trainers don't stink.

Less than 2 weeks to The Party now.

*beams*

Thursday, November 22, 2007

My birthday is less than a month away!!

Which means, it's time I did a wishlist. And no, I won't wish for more wishes cos it's a list and there's no limit to it. Also, these wishes have a good chance of not coming true at all, so there wld be no point in wishing for more wishes cos what will I do with the uselessness of it all?

- SGD10,000,000 in cash
- a SGD7000 voucher to a good tailor
- the fanciest mp4 player on earth (white casing, if possible)
- a manicure and pedicure, full sets
- The whole collection of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich (I will love you to bits, even if I loathed you before!)
- Any Archie comic(s)
- Earphones for BenQ Siemens EF51 cos I can't blardy find them anywhere and their service is so frikkin poor
- a white or gold string bikini
- a photographer with a camera who works for free
- a digicam
- a flat screen monitor
- a bottle of Jim Beam. Nvr tried the original
- a black puppy
- a bottle of good wine
- pretty and colourful flowers delivered to me
- a SGD200 Levi's voucher
- books on witchcraft. Not really for the spells, more for the history, beliefs, etc

Right. Actually, I wld like a hand-made card the most. Made by the card-giver and not some handicapped person, mind you. And Twinnie, since you're retarded, you're excused from the no-handicapped-person-card rule.

And honestly, I don't really care if I get lotsa presents or don't. Cos I'm not very materialistic, and the stuff I've listed out are my wants, not needs. Which means, I'll still stay happy without them.

But then, I'll be happier with them ah. Teehee.

At work, I can get free Ben & Jerry's, whenever I want. My fencing and golf centre has some sorta link to the ice cream fanchise's United Square branch and so, I is the happiest sweet-toothed person on earth! :-D I got Jay to share a Mix N Match with me yesterday evening and boy, was it the best costless ice cream I've ever had!!

Have mentioned how much I love my job?

Twinnie and I are planning our party. If you're a pretty close friend of ours, keep yourself free on the 8th of December. You'll be getting your invite reaaaally soon.

The Twinnies are 21!

Monday, November 19, 2007

I was searching for one of those glittering images + text to send the bf cos I miss him cos he nvr returns calls. I know it sounds familiar, Twinnie, but shut it cos I return (most of) your calls these days! Ahem.

Anyways.

I was browsing thru pickup lines and I HAD to share a few of them.

You know, I've nvr had a good pickup.

Well yeah, I've been approached by strange men while walking on pavements; mostly when I'm on my way home. It is sooo weird, y'know. I'll be quietly mulling over whatever's speculation-worthy when some guy creeps up from behind and introduces himself to me. What's even weirder is that they aaaalways come from behind. Ok, that doesn't sound too good, given the sentence structure, but they really do, every single time. Like, just appear from nowhere. And they'll proceed to inform me of their age and occupation and which block they stay at and what they do during their free time which wld lead me to being asked what I do during my free time and where I do it and the ultimate goal, an opportunity for a date, to which I'll say no to, ofcos. If I'd said yes at any point of time, I wldn't be blogging abt it cos Jay'll be reading this.

:-p

Anyways, as I was saying, I don't consider such episodes to be actual pickups. Also, I don't qualify the time I was told by a drunkard I have beautiful eyes like a DUCK's and that I shld join him for a drink at clarke quay to be a pickup. Cos that was plain mean/ridiculously stupid. Once, this girl came up to me at Gotham to tell me to come over to where she was sitting cos her guy friend wanted to talk to me, like he was some sorta sultan in shades. Why do ppl do that anyways? You want the girl, go get her yourself cos if you don't, you're just a coward acting macho.

Maybe I've nvr had a good pickup cos I've nvr responded positively.

What's a good pickup anyways!

Nonsense lah. I'm filled to the brain with cereal and it shows.

I shall leave you with a quotable quote.

Kay and I were at Tampines Mall's McD's late last friday. She had an ice cream-mess emergency, and reached for a serviette (which was on the floor moments ago) to wipe her mouth clean. In reply to my widened eyes, this little gem was revealed:

"Dirt is relative."

P.S: Have a look at these 'confucius quotes' !! Blardy hilarious.

Sunday, November 18, 2007

My mom and I slept in the study room last night. My teeeny tiiiny study room. Those of you who've been over to my house are probably going 'omg how and why!??!'. Let me tell you how many sleepy ppl there were in my cosy little 4-room apartment yesterday.

Me, my mom, dad, 3rd sis and husband, 2nd sis and husband, 3rd brother-in-law's elder brother, and 3rd brother-in-law's nephew, who's few years older than me, by the way. That makes 9 ppl, and I didn't include the 3 kiddies. How many bedrooms excluding the study(which's not a bedroom, obviously) do we have? 2.

Yeeeeep.

So there were sleeping bodies everywhere except the toilets and store-room and balcony and ceiling and walls.

It's fun, having such sleeping arrangements. Kinda like camping. It's not too fun having my right shoulder hurting like a bitch since 10am tho. Oh well.

I shld stop bitchin and move on to less bitch-worthy matters.

I'm starting on a new job tmr! And this time, it's permanent. Frikkin permanent, I shld add. Why?

COS I LOVE IT!!

I know it's too soon to say it, but it's perfect. It is THE job I've been almost fruitlessly looking for for a looooooong time. I don't even mind the fact that it pays pretty low, esp since the hours are mostly shorter than the office kind. Must work every saturday and sunday tho, which is, again, fine, cos I'll finish work at 6 or 7pm and therefore, I'll still be free for dinner dates!

*wiggles eyebrows*

Oh, you must be wondering. Customer care and administration at Z Fencing and KinderGolf, under the Z Sports franchise. United Square is abt an hour from my place.

I'm actually encouraged to study, y'know? I was told that I MUST take up those evening courses that I've been putting off for ages and that my schedule can be worked arnd, as long as my weekends remain free. They ACTUALLY CARE. And I was told all this during my interview. Beautiful!

After the interview, my supervisor-to-be asked me to send him an email containing my thoughts, concerns and such regarding the job and actual interview session; feedback lah.

Dear ****,

Thank you so much for the interview opportunity earlier today! I
indeed enjoyed my glimpse into what Z Fencing and KinderGolf does.

I find that I have since this afternoon, developed an interest for it,
as I have never dealt with anything regarding golf nor fencing, be it
work-wise or personally. I imagine it would be interesting to learn a
bit about the sports as well as improve my customer service skills. And
your workplace seems like a good place to do that as your
colleagues seem really friendly!

It's nice to see that there's priority given to staff too, instead of
just to the work to be done and service to be delivered. I'm talking
abt your encouraging me to continue my studies and that my classes can
be worked around, for my benefit, of sorts. It's refreshing, coming
across an organisation that is willing to be kind and reveals it
during the first interview itself!

But the only little glitch is that the salary range is pretty low.
Honestly, I don't come from a rich family and I fend for myself; when
I do further my education, I'll be paying for it. If offered the
position though, I'm sure I can work around that. I see a lot to be
learnt from working at Z Fencing and KinderGolf. You mentioned that
it's a stepping stone, and I see it the same way.

It's almost 12midnight now, and I should hit send to show you how
punctual I am in actual fact! :-p
(Note: I was a weee bit late for the interview. Teehee.)

I shall await your reply on Monday.

Thanks, once again!

And his reply:

Hi Dhanya,

well said and thank you. I'm glad that our work culture is something
you can relate to. We work hard to maintain a family environment and
look out for each other and our customers. It is important we enjoy our
work because of the high standards of professionalism we need to
maintain. This is something I'm proud to say that our team (teachers
and front line centre managers) reflect everyday.

I'll be making the final deliberations on the candidates today. I'll
get back to you by tomorrow latest. Your comments and concerns are
taken into consideration.

Thanks for keeping to the promise and replying. :-)

Life is preeetty good, isn't it?

Deepavali's just a day away. I love the punjabi suit I'm gonna wear. Pink sleeveless top with a teeeny bit of mirrorwork and wide white pants with some different coloured circles of fabrics sewn onto it. Oh, and the white shawl is the most beautiful part of the whole suit. Love it!!! My first brother-in-law's mom got it for me. :-D Aaand, I've already painted my nails a similar shade of pink. Teehee.

I sure hope I manage to get decent pics taken. My phone's camera's lousy. Anyone who thinks I shld get me a digicam shld get me one instead of waiting arnd for me to buy it.

Life'll be even more beautiful.

Be sleeping later (than usual) tonight. I somehow like staying up cleaning and arranging and baking; even if I've work the next day. Mommy found another tangled set of blinking lights and those are going up too!!! If only I cld think up a do-able pattern. Aiyah, I'll probably line the perimeter of the windows lah. It's almost 12 and I don't wanna spend too much time prettying something that's already beautiful. Ahem.

Clean, clean, so much to clean. Did my nails a wee bit too early, I think. Whooop-dee-doo.

Baby's crying and mom's nagging.

Toodles.

I put up blinking lights at my hall windows! I AM SO SMART!!!!!

Take a beeeg peak!!!!!

Dhanya's so smart!

A from-far shot.

Oh yes she is!

In case you're blardy stupid and have not guessed what you're looking at, it's a one-leafed flower with a little butterfly on it. I have much cleverness in me, n'est ce pas?

Blinking lights are so pretty. I nvr realised how pretty they are when tangled. And lit, ofcos.

Right. Off to sleep, I am. If I find the time to, I shall blog tmr. I shall leave you guys with a single product of a half-successful camwhoring session I had 2 nights ago.

Nights and toodles!

Ho ho ho. My halloween was a great disappointment, halloween-wise. I didn't party. *pouts*

I left the house in my costume(a soft shirt with the sleeves folded way up tucked into a high-waisted, knee-lengthed flared, frilly, ultra-feminine skirt and heels[DUH]), tho it wasn't at its full potential (I wasn't blonde yet, and make-up was minimal[lipstick and eyeliner only. I did not want to have clogged pores the whole day] and my hair was out loose and free to be wild). Ended up looking like an indian Stepford wife, as pointed out by Twinnie and FG.

Oh and FG, thanks for lunch! I feel baaaaaaaaaaad. Really. Bet you feel super good now.

Aaaanyways. That's how far my costume got this halloween cos Nan got sick, and since Jay's having his bloody exam later today (Thursday), it'd have been just me and Kay partying or roaming the streets dressed weirdly yet prettily but that didn't happen either cos after dance class, we just collapsed onto the floor and didn't feel like it(obviously).

*takes a deep breath*

Buuuut, besides my/our failure to party and enjoy costless drinks, the day was preeeetty good. Hahaha. I got to play with Appu and Baby and had the blastiest of blasts. And Appu is SUCH a pro with his motorbike. Maneuvers around pillars like he's been doing it all his life, and that, with a bored look too.

Sigh. How I miss his beautiful face and perfect hands. And little, shapely legs. And how I miss Baby's deliciously plump limbs and bright, shiny brown eyes. And generous toothless grins. And attempts to suck on my fingers.

Oh well.

Dance class was fantastic. My legs hurt. Fabulousness. I love physical pain when I'm gonna get results from it. Especially when it's as fun as it was today! Dancing with Kay was gooood. :-D My sister's happy abt our dancing. Also, I specifically know that she's elated that I'm actually taking her lessons and the art form seriously this time arnd.

We aim to perform at a temple next yr! Let you guys know when and where. You will have to be there. My first (public[and intended]) performance in 12 years ah. Don't play play.

I start on yet another temporary assignment tmr, at Raffles Place. This shld last like... a month or so. And this means, I'll be travelling to and from work with Twinnie almost everyday.

HAPPINESS-ness!!!!

Sleepiness-ness.

Nights and toodles. :)

HAPPY ALL HALLOWS' EVE!!!

This is how my halloween is gonna be spent this yr:

1145hours: Leave for Sinma, Tampines. Kay says temporary dye is available there. Going blonde, both me and her. Twinnie, shut up.

1300hours: Smooch Twinnie, and begin our lunch date at Raffles Place.

14++hours: Leave for Chong Pang, Yishun. Play with Mrityunjjay and Purannjay for the looongest time possible.

(note to self: rmbr to get jelly for the lovely toddler.)

1900hours: Dance class proper will start, and Kay and I will be stomping away.

2000hours: Dance class ends. Must wash up/bathe and doll ourselves up.

20++hours: Leave for Powerstation (probably), meeting up with Nan somewhere along the way.

21++hours: Enter FREE and have 5 FREE drinks. And paaaarrrtaaayy!!

I love being female.

Oh, I'm going as someone who lived in the 50s. Nan's bringing her camera, so I'll have a blast posting pictures, and you'll have a blast viewing them.

You are Strength

Courage, strength, fortitude. Power not arrested in the act of judgement, but passing on to further action, sometimes obstinacy.

This is a card of courage and energy. It represents both the Lion's hot, roaring energy, and the Maiden's steadfast will. The innocent Maiden is unafraid, undaunted, and indomitable. In some cards she opens the lion's mouth, in others she shuts it. Either way, she proves that inner strength is more powerful than raw physical strength. That forces can be controlled and used to score a victory is very close to the message of the Chariot, which might be why, in some decks, it is Justice that is card 8 instead of Strength. With strength you can control not only the situation, but yourself. It is a card about anger and impulse management, about creative answers, leadership and maintaining one's personal honor. It can also stand for a steadfast friend.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

Eeeenteresting. Got it off Kay's blog, by the way.

Mom's screaming.

Nights and toodles, babies. And have a marvily spooky day. :-D

P.S: Twinnie, you frikkin rock, you lovely asswipe!! I am SOOOO proud!!!!!
P.P.S: If somebody knows how I can fix this paragraph-less state of mine, do let me know. I messed arnd with Blogger's publishing options. BAH.

On Facebook, there's this application that I added, called Superlatives. Ppl vote what I'm most likely to do/be; as follows:

Your Top Superlatives

Most Likely To Have a Blonde Moment (4 friends)
Most Likely To Get Out of Trouble by Smiling (3 friends)
Most Likely To Encourage my Dangerious, Drunken Escapades (1 friend)
Most Likely To Be the Most Creative (1 friend)

Most Likely To Make me Laugh (1 friend)
Most Likely To Party Like a Rockstar (1 friend)
Most Likely To Bring Sexy Back (1 friend)
Most Likely To Walk into a Pole (1 friend)
Most Likely To Keep a Promise (1 friend)

I'm mostly most likely to have a blonde moment! I agree. Not many ppl have voted tho. Cos I've not been bothering much with those application thingies until Jay joined Facebook 2 days ago. Where my love interest is, my interests lie. Haha.

The bf;

Jijay Kumar thinks you are Most Likely To Be the Most Creative
Jijay Kumar thinks you are Most Likely To Make me(him) Laugh
Jijay Kumar thinks you are Most Likely To Have a Blonde Moment
Jijay Kumar thinks you are Most Likely To Bring Sexy Back
Jijay Kumar thinks you are Most Likely To Get Out of Trouble by Smiling

I must agree with my getting out of trouble by smiling. He shld know, really.

*smiles real sweetly*

I shld go! Have to be up early tmr. 3-day assignment at suntec again, but as an events coordinator this time arnd.

Wish me fun!

Guess what I downloaded last night? Guess guess guess GUESS!!

Super Troopers!!!!

I loved the movie the first time I caught it almost halfway thru on tv like, 4 yrs ago. I rmbr thinking to myself, "what a delightfully mad movie. again! again again again!" while clapping like a teletubby.

I am kinda bored. And restless. Was sending Jay web smses earlier, and I think he was busy. Hope he's not annoyed. Ah what the heck, doesn't matter if he's fed up; he'll still want to marry me anyway. *beams real wide*

I shall post our little almost one-sided convo here.

I'm Larling! by the way. Cos, that's how he addresses me often.

Larling!: I lou you, my chellam. Lou you like shit ah! And miss you more than that. :(

Larling!: Wld you be free later today, by any chance?

+659*******: Don't think so dah. Where are u?

Larling!: I'm at home. *pouts* Looks like I'll be staying home. Bleeeeurgh. What're you doing?! I miss you!!! I MISS YOooouuU!!!!

+659*******: I'm at class la, what else. Maybe i'll come over tomorrow for tea.

Larling!: Aaaaama. :-p Busy ah? By the way, the chocolate cake finished yesterday evening. :(

Larling!: And by the way again, I just watched the Disco Rama song scene and weirdly, I loved it. But not as much as I love you!!
.
.
.
(nothing's said for a looong time.)
.
.
.
Larling!: You lousy ah. Oh well. Call me whenever it is that you're free ah! :-D

Ladidaaadidaaa.

I feel the need to bake another cake. Cos, 1 and half days after 'releasing' it for eats, there's none left for me. And I had only like, a cubic inch of it. :(

Oooo, my mom's made me an egg thosai. Be back later!

Saturday, October 20, 2007

Isn't this song lovely?

Playground Love by Air, from the album The Virgin Suicides, soundtracks to the movie. Am yet to download the rest of the album, but I absolutely adore this one.

I made a fair-sized chocolate brownie-cake and 4 choco-wine cupcakes. I looove baking into the wee hours of the morning! And Twinnie's Russel Peters DVD has proven to be very good company.

It's 5.24am now. My eyes are half closed.

So, toodles!

Friday, October 19, 2007

At 13, I took up Bharathanatyam, but lasted only one year cos I lost interest. Also ah, the teacher a bit the bitchy and I didn't care enough to continue.

This sunday, I will be starting on a whooole new Bharathanatyam-journey of sorts. See, my sister's gonna be teaching me. Weird innit? True, tho!

Kay's already a student of hers and she loves the classes cos, well, she loves the art. So, we'll be classmates! Or maybe not, since she started earlier and we'd be on different levels. Schoolmates! Mmm. But we'll be taught at her home. Can't use home-mates, so maybe dance-mates shld suffice.

You may wonder why I've decided to learn the art now, after all these yrs. Wellll,

- my sister insists that I do
- I love watching performances
- I do have an interest in learning it, tho it's not a very huge one
- as you all shld know by now, I desperately want to shed fat
- sunday's Vijayadashami, and so
- my sister insists that I do

And honestly, I have good dancer genes. I know it as a fact lah. My family is full of ppl with artistic talents of different kinds and degrees. Sadly, we generally waste the good stuff like shit. *nods* I'd be the perfect example.

So yep, the super long procastination period is over. Bleeeeeurgh.

I will make sure I have fun.

Note: A quotable convo in the form of msn convo shots has been added to the end of this post, a few hours after first publishing it.

Did this VisualDNA thing.

There's supposed this stylo flash product called a widget with images of what I like and don't like and crave and all, but the codes I was provided with were super cocky, and all I cld salvage was this;

Do it too! Preeetty interesting.

I'm blogging 12 days after my last post. Feeeeeels good!

I have an announcement to make.

Ahem. Drumrolls pls.

*drums roll, and I snigger*

I hereby make public, my resolve to go make-up-less.

*clouds stop moving. leaves stop shaking in the wind. cos the wind's stopped blowing. flowers close up and shiver. bees drop dead mid-flight. crows smash into window panes.*

I am not pulling your leg, ppl. I am seriously not going use cosmetics from now on. In fact, it's been almost a week since I made my decision.

I had 2 trial runs, one was with Jay at white sands last...friday, I think. And the other was when I made a trip down to orchard, and then to yishun, on monday. Yes, I was at orchard with no make-up on. And boy did it feel goooood!

I cld rub my eyes without worrying abt smudges and I cld slap and pinch myself countless times and not worry too. I. Love. It.

What drove me to this resolution of sorts is the image I saw in the mirror. I saw preeeetty clear skin, which I've been anticipating the possession of since I was 15. I then realised that I don't actually need make-up since I've nothing to cover.

So, before stepping out, all I'll do is apply some Olay total effects cream (which I frikkin swear by), lip balm and that's it; I'm ready to go out, if I have my clothes on that is. And if I've not had enough sleep lately, a kohl eyeliner will suffice.

Now all that applies to a non-clubbing/partying/celebratory outing. Make-up can be fun too.

But not sooo fun that I wanna use it everyday! And guess what? I don't NEED TO!! Ladidadidaaaaa!!!

*prances from cloud to cloud; an attempt to get them to move*

----------------------------------------------------

Twinnie & I. Black cut out parts were too confidential to be revealed. *sniggers*

Friday, October 5, 2007

Would be good if you cld cease requesting to be my friend. I am not gonna accept it cos (1) I have no idea who you are (2) You live in Malaysia so you definitely have no idea who I am (3) I have no interest whatsoever in being your friend cos all I see in your private profile is a fancy pic of the letter M. Hardly illuminating, yes?

You've requested to be my friend 3 to 4 times now. And I've rejected them all. I'm not very fond of rejecting ppl. Help me.

Toodles.

Dhanya

The story is obvious here.

Some ppl ah, veryyy the irritating even when you don't know them personally.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Kit's a co-organiser of this party called Twang!, at Zouk. Am waaaay too lazy to do any actual creative work right now (as you will see below) so I'm just lifting stuff from her blog.

Why should you come?

It's guaranteed to be fun:-

1) because there'll be no overaged sexual predators around;
2) because tickets are not only cheap, they also come with one free drink;
3) because it's at Zouk;
4) because you're clubbing with friendly faces;

5) Because this is Kit's first attempt at organising a public party, so her friends(such as me) SHOULD show some support!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How rare is it that it only costs $16 (plus one free drink, alcoholic of course) to enter Zouk? And without that huge thronging crowd of sweaty bodies belonging to people you don't even know?

If you want to club in style, there're also VIP tables available:

VIP tables W/O complimentary drinks are $168( 10 pax) or $158(8pax).

VIP tables with complimentary drinks are $258(10 pax) or $242(8pax).

How can you come?

Tickets are on sale now, till the day itself (or while stocks last.)
Tickets look super gorgeous! Kit was one of the designers! :-p

The next thing to do after reading this is to get your fingers off the mouse and contact:-
1) Kit (if you have her mobile number); or
2) the organising group at twangparty@googlegroups.com

So come Twang! with us on
4th December at 2200hrs to 0400hrs!

Also see, http://twangparty.livejournal.com/

-------------------------

I wanna go! Hope I am. 4th December's my parents' anniversary. Not sure of the celebratory plans yet. Mmm.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Quotable Quotes/ Stuff

Kit and I ordered a dish which was to supposed have paneer(cottage cheese) in it, but didn't. A while into the meal;

Kit: Hey, I think this's the cheese thing. *pokes at something on her plate*
Me : Umm. I think that's the chicken
(which she's been eating for a bit).
Kit: Oh yeah! Hahaha.

-------------------------

A friend of mine spotted a 10+ yr old boy selling stuff outside a shopping centre. She rushed closer to me;

Her: Omg. Look at that boy! He seems to have grown much taller the past 2 days man!!!!
Me : Where where?? *spots boy* Aiyah. That's the older brother lah.
Her: Oh. Mmm. Hahhahahaha!!!!
Me : HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!!!

Beeer's getting me to go to this Aaraathanaa show thingamy at Ngee Ann Poly tmr. Said she got complimentary tickets, but I have a feeling she's lying cos she just feels like having me arnd, and knows very well that I wldn't dream of paying for tickets to something I cldn't even be half-assed abt. Oh, after the show and all, she'll be staying over at my place. Ssssweeeeet. :-D

And so I shall!

Thursday, September 27, 2007

I'll be starting on yet another temporary assignment tmr. Guess what I'll be doing.

Really, humour me.

I'll be selling stuff. Guess what I'll be selling.

No, guess!!

.
.
.
.
.

Drawing a blank?

.
.
.
.

I'll be selling something that you're probably in possession of at this very moment. It is really reaaally close to you. In fact, it's right in front of your clueless eyes.

.
.
.
.
.
.

Computers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to believe, I know. Dhanya the IT-Bimbo, selling home systems and laptops. Boggles the mind, don't it!

I quit Multimedia & Infocomm Technology in polytechnic cos I got too close to computers and IT shit and found it soooo boring, I wld have died had I stayed on for more than 6 months. Learning abt CPU parts nearly killed me.

And here I am, on my way to signing a 3-month contract with Dell!

The pay is fanatastico tho. That plays the hugest part in my current willingness to take up the offer.

Plus, I love ppl. Doesn't matter if they're screaming at me for something somebody else did or gazing adoringly at my ass; I love them all the same. Plays the 2nd hugest part.

3rd hugest is how I keep being told Dell is a great company to work for. Mmm.

So! Tmr's my first day, and it's at a roadshow at Causeway Point. Roadshow-ing will be for 4 days only, and a week or so after will be contract proper.

I hate Causeway Point. But, the ppl I'm gonna be working with seem preeeetty cool, so... good lah. I'm even travelling to (frikkin) Woodlands with one of my groupies, this muslim guy of whose race I can't determine, from Tampines.

Yep.

The ad agency I was working for till last monday, called today to see if I was keen on a permanent position they have open. I was like, heeelll yeaahh! I conveyed my salary expectations and was told I'll receive positive/negative news soon. Hope I didn't scare them off. And they jolly well react fast, before I sign this 3-month contract.

*examines nails with an air of importance*

I quite often find myself without a job. I just can't stick to one cos it ends up sucking, or I end up sucking at it. And I'll be back to job-hunting. Anonymous person, shush!!

As I was saying, my occupation status will be house-daughter for a month or 2, and when I do get a job offer, I swear, other job offers just spring up. Like Natasha Bedingfield's vision of babies springing up like daisies.

It's aaaalways like that, y'know. I had to turn down an interview for some customer service position at AIA Tampines today cos I had to attend some training shit. Hope nothing much's lost on my side.

Maybe I shld reschedule.

I am boring myself, terribly. Computers, laptops, jobs, Causeway Point.

I have a feeling I'll meet weird ppl at Causeway Point. Bet I'll have loads to blog abt.

:-D

Changed my blogskin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*dies of happification*

I do miss the skin twinnie did for me, tho. It was lovely ah.

But like all good things, it had to come to an end. *sniggers while Nelly Furtado croons in the background*

By the way, if you don't see a huge eye on this page, photobucket's acting up. The white space isn't supposed to be there. Yep.

Such a boring post.

Lunch beckons. Toodles!

Friday, September 21, 2007

I had this book when I was way younger, about the Pied Piper of Hamelin. Was a really thin children's book, with illustrations, and I had no idea it was a true story. Of sorts. I rmbr being kinda disturbed abt it, cos I wasn't given any idea as to what actually happened to the 130 children after they were led into the marvellous cave.

In case the details you got are fuzzy, or you just aren't aware of the existence of such a tale, here's an excerpt from it's wikipedian explanation;

The Pied Piper of Hamelin is a legend, documented by the Brothers Grimm (Der Rattenfänger von Hameln, which translates to "The Ratcatcher of Hamelin"), which tells of an unusual disaster that occurred in the town of Hamelin (Hameln), Germany, 26 June 1284.

In 1284, the town of Hamelin was suffering from a rat infestation. One day, a man claiming to be a rat-catcher approached the villagers with a solution. They promised to pay him for the removal of the rats. The man accepted, and thus played a musical pipe to lure the rats with a song into the Weser river, where all of them drowned.

Despite his success, the people reneged on their promise and refused to pay the rat-catcher. The man left the town angrily, but returned some time later, on June 26th, seeking revenge.

While the inhabitants were in church, he played his pipe again, this time attracting the children of Hamelin. One hundred and thirty boys and girls followed him out of the town, where they were lured into a cave and never seen again. Depending on the version, at most two children remained behind (one of whom was lame and could not follow quickly enough) who informed the villagers what had happened when they came out of the church.

Other versions (but not the traditional ones) claim that the Piper returned the children after the villagers paid several times the original amount of gold.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pied_piper

Damn interesting, ah?

Read more of it, it gets fascinating. And the site links published are worth reading too, cos they've quite different perceptions as to what really happened; one theroy says all the kids were killed, and another says they were willingly led to places where they set up their own villages. There was even a stained glass window that depicted the story, but it's apparently no more, and we only have descriptions of it. Going by those observations, Hans Dobbertin, a cyptographer, who just passed away last yr, came up with a version of the glass window. Been searching for a pic of it online for the past 20 min, but to no avail! Oh well.

If you find it, can show me? And if you stumble upon any interesting portrayals/illuminations, gimme! I wld be most interested.

Thursday, September 20, 2007

I'm sure you're familiar with the term 'read between the lines'. And I'm preeetty sure that if you're reading this, you're a young(ish) person, so, you shld be aware of the more offensive meaning the phrase holds, usually meant while displaying your hand with its 2nd, 3rd and 4th digits sticking solidly out.

Like this:

A friendlier version wld be,

So, you're frikkin pissed with someone and you want them to know they're shit and contemplate using the 'read between the lines' thing, cos it's a rude gesture, obviously. Then you think, "Alamak, I saw that primary school kid use it on her grandma yesterday. I got to come up with something btr and cooler!" Now that's when, if you're smart enough, the idea of the super fuck springs to your mind.

.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Tadaaa!!

I present to you, the super fuck!!

My middle finger has got a pattern on it that resembles a phallus, and it's got supposed drops of urine on the fingers beside it. Aaaand, a tiny representation of the penis on my little finger(to say,'you're such a loser, your dick's like that!') , and another on my thumb too, which, unfortunately, wasn't photographed.

There you have it. The perfect, illustrated, cheemified insult.

Use it on someone. The reaction you'd get will first be this:

and once the full implication of your manicured nails are registered, you'll get this:

Marvellousness, yes?

You got a fantastic insult readily available AND, you have an excuse to get your nails done if you're a guy. What more cld any bitch ask for?

Get your super fuck done today!

Tuesday, September 18, 2007

I am officially back to full-time job hunting. SUCH a bore/headache!!

Oh well, I guess I have more time to bake my cakes, smell my dead/dried roses, get laid(riiight. sigh.), lose weight(the sis says my arms look slimmer!!!!!), bake an extra chocolatey cake for the sis and do my nails myself.

Speaking of nails, later, I will have to introduce the fantastic idea of the super fuck to you guys. It is so mind-blowing, every nail salon shld offer it. Yes, twinnie?

I am becoming such a girly girl. Tsk.

Off to meet a recruitment agent.

Toodles!

I am officially plump.

PLUMP PLUMP PLUMPETTY PLUMP!

And it is soooooooo depressing. It's not due to the bothersome images of perfect(?) models. I am sooooo sad bcos, I look like shit.

Honest!

I nvr used to have a serious muffin-top problem. Those of you who know me well shld know that I used to be a bit of a fatso till sec 2/3, which is when I worked out like shit to lose all the weight I'd been carrying since primary 4. I've stretch marks for proof of the sudden weight loss. And I always wore my jeans and skirts at the waist (absolutely yucky, I know), which is why I nvr had the muffin-top problem even when I was fat.

But NOW.

I can't wear any damn pair of jeans without my bottom half looking like a frikkin huge muffin!

In case, you're wondering wtf all this muffin business is abt, here're a few illustrations;

I believe that's clear enough.

So, as I was saying, my 3 favourite pairs of low-rise jeans just don't flatter me anymore, unless I put on a loooong, loose top. I can't even wear those adorably tight long tees. Sigh.

Those sleepless nights spent preparing and delightedly devouring baked potatoes with sour cream and tuna, my favourite snack, have turned out to be totally evil. And the cheesy macaroni dishes (very much like the one I had at Kenny Rogers *gulps* today) and self-made rich chocolate cakes and sugar-coated peanuts and cold slices of cheese and god, the list can go on and on.

I DO workout, just not regularly.

The mom has hidden the dumbells cos she disapproves of my using them. -_-

That woman thinks I'm skinny. She insists on me having a proper dinner, and, she's a terrific cook. Scolds me whenever I do anything resembling a workout. I'm soon gonna look like this;

Siiiiiiiigh.

Watch I progressively expand.

You might not spot a very visible change here, but it's frikkin visible in person ah. Having an obvious tummy isn't fun; doesn't matter how obvious, as long as it is. Bah.

Know what? I'm gonna get off the comp now, complete a minimum of 75 sit ups, do this wonderful workout I got out a book that's for the ass and legs, and allow myself to stop worrying and whining like a vain kid who got her hair shaven off.

Temporarily, at least.

It's 3.31am. Time to get crackin'.

To a new me! *toasts*

And if you've got weight problems, to a new you too, hopefully.

Men.

Why is it that the older we get, the more we know, and the shittier they seem as a whole?

Before I go on, I have to state this clearly; I am doing some super-generalisation.

Seriously, why? Yes, I'm barely 21, but I have close friendly/sisterly relations with older women whose ages go up to almost 60, and their ideas regarding men aren't very different from mine. Sure, there're some men in (my and) their lives that're exceptional and by that, I mean love-worthy.

But.

There's the man that seemed love-worthy at first, but not soooo worthy after we realised that the reason the wifey was all alone at home constantly while she was pregnant was that he got himself not 1, but 2 extra curricular activity partners at work. The divorce came 8 years after and he apologised, saying he's a slut by nature.

There's also the man who impregnated his girlfriend, told her he loved her, and just left her alone to face the abortion and whatever came after.

The man who fantasises abt his wife's sisters.

The uncle who begged his niece to sleep with him and showed her porn mags and handed her some tissue paper to wipe herself with up in case she was wet. She was 16, and she didn't even know where or why she was supposed to be wet. He's even carried her when she was a baby.

The man who raped his many teenaged daughters(with his shitty wives' consents), for the lamest reason, if it cld even be called a reason; teenage guys can't be trusted. Sounds like he cldn't trust other guys to rape his daughters well enough, so he forced the burden upon himself.

Doesn't all this amaze you? Sure, you've heard of such things, maybe have even experienced something similar yourself. Still, honestly, doesn't it just blow your mind, hearing about used women and their tormentors?

What do they actually have on their minds? How do they manage to have dicks for minds and their brains in their asses? How do they even live with themselves? Their crummy, crappy selves?

The Singaporean man who raped a few-month-old baby girl with her hands tied behind her back and threw her down the rubbish chute when he was done. She was dead by then, ofcos.

He is/was pure evil. Not sure if he's still alive. Imagine, he was so desperate, he had to kill a baby for sexual gratification, and he went for it.

Ever since I read that article years ago, I vowed to keep a watch over kids arnd me. And babies. And recently, I learnt the full value of keeping a watch over myself and women who are close to me.

Cos you honestly nvr know what the boogeyman looks like until he closes in on you.

P.S: There're bad women too, I know. This post's just abt men, so yeah.

My temporary assignment will soon be over, so I'm constantly JobsDB-ing. Quite a number of jobs require knowledge of Chinese, and I don't mind at all. Have a look at this tho:

-“0”-Level & above
-Computer literacy
-Able to start work with short notice
-Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate with all races customers
-Preferable with minimum 1 year experience in relevant field
-Singaporean, Singapore PR or Malaysian are applicable

When did knowledge of English and Mandarin become equal to being able to converse fluently with people of alllll races that exist? Amazing ah.

And here's a slightly funny one:

-Must be able to commence work immediately or at short notice
-Only Singaporean, PR and Dependent Pass Holder need to apply
-Bilingual in English and Mandarin or English and Thailand

Don't they stop to think if everything sounds alright before publishing it on a reeeeeaally popular job site? *rolls eyes*

Gonna go see my newborn and manly(you'll be surprised at how manly he looks, even as a baby) nephew at the hospital. Ahhhh lovely lovely. :-D

Looks like it's all cleared up. Somewhat. I don't know what to think, and it's probably easier this way.

Cos family or not, it's just another person.

Another person. Not me, nor my mom nor dad. It's all that shld matter. No?

Confusion is such a huge source of irritation and in my case, hesitation too. Who do I believe? I'd hate to believe me, but know what? After all that, I think I still might.

Only time and behavioural choices will tell, I guess.

I miss how my family used to be. Living together; always with each other; for each other. It's not just a physical separation. We all got too many secrets and are too quick to defend other ppl we love.

WHAT A WASTE OF ENERGY AND TIME.

Oh well. I still got my mom and dad.

The father was in a net-using mood.

Shut up, twinnie!

So. I'm temping at this ad agency at Suntec.

I looooooooove working that area. It takes me exactly 54 minutes to get to Suntec, counting from the minute I put my shoes on. An hour is preeetty ok. The place is so genuinely busy; there're always ppl walking arnd and hogging escalator space, especially at that overhead bridge from citylink that leads you right to one of the many entrances to Suntec. White ppl are so easy to spot, and I love it bcos Singapore suddenly seems kinda... wider, somehow. I wonder if the white race will truly expand here.

I always pass by Starbucks with my nose up in the air, proud of resisting my temptation to go in and get a cuppa. Knowledge of the existence of a Coffeebean outlet just a few blocks away doesn't help tho; not with the pocket, not with the diet(?) too. Getting a double vanilla ceylon latte or a moroccan mint tea latte will not help me get alert anyways. Tea lattes soothe too much.

I'd love one now tho. It's 2am and I've 5 hours left till my dad gently wakes me up. See, the alarm got spoilt, and he offered.

Why am I finding it hard to fall asleep? I am, in fact, sleepy. But not drowsy... yet. I wish I were one of those ppl who're out like a light the second they hit the pillow.

Kabby pointed out earlier that my eyes were kinda bloodshot. As did twinnie last saturday.

Btr cut out some cucumber slices and balance them on my eyeballs.

Toodles.
