Job-searching is such a tiring process. The next few days (hopefully not many), my most visited website will be JobsDB. Oh, JobStreet too. I'm updating my resume now, which is actually the easiest part of job-hunting. Why? Cos I don't have much to write abt! For now at least.
Will be going over to Yishun later. My sister's invited to this R.O.M party and she has no idea what sorta hairstyle to wear and needs help with her eye make-up. Me to the rescue! I will get to see Baby too, which works as a very good pulled-to-Yishun-factor.
Chong Pang hawker food for dinner, with Jay! The lovely, and the lovelier. Oh wait, the loveliEST! Hehe. :-D
One of my birthday gifts(from the aforementioned sister) were Delifrance vouchers. I always have them in my bag, just in case I feel like some soup and garlic bread. Wld be marvy with the rainy weather. Mmm... *tastebuds tingle*
They're showing Rhythm on SunTV now! Omg, I so do not want to leave for Yishun so soon! BLEAURGH!! I love the songs in the movie, and I like the movie as a whole. I generally don't like Meena much, but I am certain that she did nicely in Rhythm. And the little boy is sooo adorable. I wanna stay home! Sigh.
I shall now go bathe in misery. Toodles.

My hair is wet. I don't want it to go into stinkland by having it pressed against a pillow. Sigh. Sleepy sleepy.
It feels so beautiful to not have to work on a Saturday. Beautiful. I sure hope it rains 5am onwards; I'll be softly awakened by the pitter-pattering of the rain, and a lazy smile will cross my face as I get lulled back to another bout of uninterrupted sleep. Beautiful. So damned hard to get up and do the bathing and dressing up shit with the whisper of the rain in my ear; "Gooooo baaack to sleeeeep.. to sleeeeeeeep..." When baby stays over, I kiss and cuddle his sleepy form before putting on my make-up. Takes ALL of my willpower to not join him in slumberland.
Oh, and I'm almost always late to work these days. Sigh.
This morning, I was at Bedok mrt station, abt to go down the escalator to the underpass thing that wld lead me out when I heard somebody semi-shout what sounded like my name. Since a lot of stuff are similar to my name when pronounced (come here, am here, the ear, then ya, dumb ya, etc.), I ignored it. It was only when I heard it again, this time louder and clearer and a little familiar, did I turn back and see. All I saw was a blur of colour on the form of a fair girl with long hair. Which means I wasn't wearing my glasses, ofcos. I was still struggling to keep awake and gave my name-caller a really screwed up "WHo ah?" kinda expression. And with the flow of the escalator I went.
As I walked on to my workplace, I started feeling guilty and stupid. Like, imagine how my friend(I'd already established it's a friend i'd probably studied with; it's not like I'm famous) wld have felt. So pai seh, you call somebody and the person don't know you. Something abt her voice was very familiar. And THEN it hit me.
Kit!
She's the only person who pronounces my name the way she does. Dhaan-ya. And so I smsed her and yes, it WAS her! She was amazed I recognised her by her pronunciation. So am I.
One of my sisters is holidaying/business-handling in India. Here's an sms convo from yesterday:
Sister: Hey Dhanya panni(pig in Tamil), Im bored here.cant wait to be back home. anything interesting to tell me?
Me: Umm... Your backside grows a millimeter a week according to scientific research.
Sister: Is it really true? Alamak..Please lah! Tell me sumore.
Me: Not true!! Haha. And then... Are you aware of the existence of seedless watermelons?
Sister: You ULTIMATE WEIRDO!
Hair's dry. Toodles.
P.S: I lou Jay. :-D

First-year students at med school were receiving their first anatomy class with a real dead human body. They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white sheet.
The professor started the class by telling them: "In medicine, it is necessary to have 2 important qualities as a doctor. The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the human body." For an example, the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the corpse, withdrew it and stuck his finger in his mouth..
"Go ahead and do the same thing," he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but eventually took turns sticking a finger in the butt of the dead body and
sucking on it. Each one tried his best not to puke. When everyone had finished, the Professor looked at them and told them, "The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention."
--------------------------------------------------------------------
My birthday's in 2 days! Too bad I'll be working. It'll be the very first birthday that I'll be working on, y'know. That's entirely due to the fact that so far I've only done temp stunts at companies. With the exception of now, that is. Actually... I'm on the search for another job, cos I can't be doing shifts when I start on my part-time course later next year; 8pm is too late to finish work if I've other commitments. So I guess I'm self-proclaimedly temping.
I love it when my birthday comes arnd. It feels like a mini-festival to me. Like it's December 19th, so start smiling, everybody! Haha. It's sorta childish but I love the feeling. Will be wearing my contacts to work instead of glasses; I MUST put some real effort into looking good at least once a yr. And what btr day to do it then on my birthday, yah?
Sash's in India. I miss her! Oh well, Christmas will be here extremely soon, and she'll be back, thank god.
There are so many ppl I need to meet up with soon. And some of you, I don't even have your numbers on account of my handphone dying on me and my losing of all my contacts. :( If you read this, ppl, send me an sms, ok?
I don't even meet my best friend often. Lame, lame, lame.
Note to self: Don't take kindness, nor love, for granted.
I just recieved an email from Jobstreet wishing me a very happy birthday. Aww... hahaha. Oh, Deepers' was the first birthday greeting I got, in the form of a Friendster testimonial! Oh, and he's in India too. Lousy assholes, go to India for what? Especially at the time when everybody gets together for parties. Oh well.. it's not like Sash can come out whenever she wants to anyway.
I btr go sleep now, got work tmr. Thank god I work in the east. Oh, Mom AND Dad are screaming at me to go to bed. Such coordination! :-p
Toodles.
P.S: I can't wait to see what Jay's got for me! And sweetheart, like I said, I will love the present for sure, but I will love it even more if you told me what it is. *beams* Ok, stupid, I know. It's worth the shot tho. The suspense is KILLING ME!! *dies*

If you really need to talk to me, leave me a msg at home, or see me under my block when I come back during the weekends. Or, just leave a msg in my voice mailbox lah. I do check it every night. If you're calling from a private number, LEAVE ME YOUR NUMBER cos I can't get to my contacts.

Got that pic I asked for from Premi! She's scary shit in this. Suren did the make-up.

Creepy, yah?
Yesterday was Jay's graduation. He looked so cute up there in his tie, speaking into the microphone with his louly, louly voice. :-D
He and his friends went clubbing after and I sooo felt like clubbing too. But I didn't join them cos I had work the next day and well, didn't wanna be the sore thumb sticking out cos they were all guys. And I had a feeling they wanted to do some serious picking-up, which turned out to be true. Haha.
This month's pay is almost gone. :( Next month, I HAVE to go somewhere. And I want to try a new place. Any suggestions?
I love Maaza. It's a mango drink from India, you can get it from Mustafa Centre. You guys HAVE to try it. Mango-lovers, have it cold. I'll be having a birthday bbq/ chalet this yr and I intend to have at least 3 bottle of Maaza, all for myself. YUMM.
I'm having a slight headache. I think it shows.

I catch myself smiling for no particular reason these days; weird looks from my fellow commuters are getting so common.
I realise, that I am really happy with my life. And I refer to all classifications of it; the past, the present, the future. My childhood was a very good one, cos I had everything a child needed and more. Also, I'm blessed for not being born mentally disabled, as a baby who's mother was above the age of 35 when he/she was conceived has way higher chances of turning out to be 'not normal', scarily. Hell, I'm bloody blessed to have even been given the chance to be born. My parents actually fixed an appointment for abortion which they (obviously) didn't keep. They weren't in the best position to keep a baby then lah... things were tough. I think I've mentioned this before. Thank god for their soft hearts.
I like my job lots. I actually look forward to going to work!!!! And believe it or not, for the whole month of October, I pulled a sickie only once. And that's cos I WAS sick. Absolute weirdness! Oh, and I will be studying early next yr. It is SOOO decided. I'm sick of trying, trying AND trying to decide what I want to pursue: fashion or mass communications. And I've now made my decision. Mass Comm. I'm looking forward to it so much.
In 3 yrs or so, I'll be marrying Jay. His family seems alrite with me, and according to him, his mom really likes me. Also, Aishu has started actually talking to me. No more shy, worried expressions! :-D
I love where my life is headed. I appreciate the mistakes I made too; quitting poly, quitting jobs, and every other minor and majorly wrong thing I did. Cos it's all somehow gotten me to how I am now, which is happy.
I owe a big part of it to my family, to Jay, my former friends, and the friends I got now. I love you guys so much; you know who you are, and I know how much I mean to you. It's a cliche, but friends forever, sweethearts.
:)

It's Halloween next Tuesday. I won't be partying the night away like I imagined I might, but I'll be 'partying' in the evening at work instead. I love this company and the way they actually bother to celebrate occasions; they shake things up, and that's soooo appreciated!
Was planning to dress up a little weird even before the party was announced, so now that there's actually gonna be a celebration, I'm going all out! Well... almost. It's just an office party, can't make a fool of myself, sadly. Jay suggested I borrow his army uniform and go as a dead soldier. Not a bad idea, I shld say. I'll be getting the uniform from him on Monday BUT, if it does not look the way I want it to look on me, I'll probably be going as an evil Barbie doll. Idea courtesy of Premi. It's easy to dress up like Barbie anyways; a dressy outfit and TONS of mascara with green eyeshadow. Bad-assed Barbie will probably have bigger-than-usual hair and dark eyeshadow, and a gun, a knife, and a few packets of cocaine in her big, bad-assed bag. The perfect excuse to hurl obscenities at the ppl at work! Weeeee!!
But then again, that is IF the army uniform doesn't fit. It'll take a lot less effort to be a dead soldier.
I'm so sleepy, and I'm boring myself so much. This has been SUCH a terrifyingly boring post.
Toodles.

Had a blast on Deepavali! As usual, I have no time to blog proper now, cos I've to be up early tmr; going to Malaysia to visit my relatives on Hari Raya like I do every year. Baby is coming! Weee!!

Sindhu-backside and me at Jay's house. My family was there! All went well. :)

Me, Aishu, Sindhu, Suchi, and Madhu baby!
On the day before, which was Friday, there was a Deepavali/Hari Raya celebration thingamy at work. Everyone was encouraged to wear traditional costumes(encouraged is a mild term. We were warned that those who failed to comply will have, and I quote, 'horrible things done to them') and me being me, I chose to wear a saree! And so I got to be the 1st runner up for the best-dressed competition they held. The winner was Ashraf, and he was called Sharukh Khan for the day. I was Preity Zinta/ Aishwarya Rai cos they cldn't decide. Nonsense ah. :-p But it was sooo fun! Ppl kept taking pictures of both of us, and with us. And they were like, " stand closer lah! We won't send to your bf or gf, don't worry." Also! Before it was announced that he was the winner, we were asked to run around a human coconut tree. Hahaa!

Note the saree. I absolutely love it!

The ladies at work!
ARGH. Mom's screaming.
Toodles!
Oh, and Happy Hari Raya!

ANNOUNCEMENT: I can't tag on my own tagboard. I shall wait it out since it happens sometimes for a few days for no obvious reason.
END OF ANNOUNCEMENT.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The elusive 'later' is here!
I'm gonna let the pictures tell their stories... with some explanations added here and there to aid your understanding, ofcos. They aren't in order of date taken; too lazy to sort and shit, cos I've got work tmr, altho it's a saturday! Sigh. Oh well, it's the only Saturday that the bunch of us are asked to come back on. I shan't complain. Much.
Babies!!

Madhu got sleepy at NTUC.
Birthdays!

Sister no.1's birthday. The cake wasn't done by me, but the icing was. A little lame looking, but it was on short notice; hence, I've got a marvy excuse. Coffee-flavoured royal icing, cadbury's chocolate thingie and roasted almonds.

Sister no.3's birthday cake. We celebrated it 2 days after the actual birthday, at Bishan park. Cake was done entirely by Sister no.1. Nice, ah?

Female monkey at Bishan park. My bro-in-law refused to obey the sign and fed it a banana, after which, the monkey kept eyeing us. I was freaked!

Baby's birthday cake. We celebrated it with immediate family on the actual day, and had a bigger celebration at the Civil Service Club a week later. Sister no.1 also did this cake.
ANNOUNCEMENT No.2: Sister no.1 can make you a cake if you like too. For some cash, ofcos. She's real busy now handling lotsa orders for Deepavali and Hari Raya, and do not hesitate to get her busier; order a cake too! Not a cake like these lah, these are normally for birthdays. You can ask for icing though. Chocolate, Vanilla, Lemon, Orange, lots more flavours. Customise your cakes. Email me at anya24@hotmail.com shld you be interested. I'll send you the price list/ order form. And if you know my hp number, call me, ofcos.
END OF ANNOUNCEMENT No.2.

Clinic at Yishun. The doctor's a master of traumatology. Weird huh?

Sha did this for me a month or 2 ago, with a black pen. =D

Twinnie and I, at Baby's birthday celebration. =D

My cousin got married at the Ritz last month. The food was heavenly, and so was the washroom!

I finally managed to get a decent pic of my eyes. Wee!

Nanio!

Geethu! The stupidest cousin a girl cld have. =)

It was just Sha and me, a few months ago. We made dinner, and ate it watching Casablanca. *floats*

Close-up. In case you can't decipher it, it says Makkal Inc., with a butterfly in the midst of fluttering.
Woopsay, it's later than I thought it was. Must sleep.
Please expect a continuation... but I can't tell you when it's gonna be, except that it will of a certainty be 'later'. :-p

QUIZ MANIA - courtesy of QuizGalaxy.com
That's weird.
Jay'll skin me.
Just the way I imagined it to be.
FRIKKIN TRUE.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Ended up not jogging, by the way. We decided we lacked nourishment(read: we were more in the mood to pig out than run abt), so straight to the WhiteSands foodcourt it was.
Sigh... oh well.
I can't wait for 3rd October! The idea of going somewhere everyday, doing something and getting paid for it, is maaaaarvy. And 6-8 weeks later; perfect excuse for staying out! Plus, more moolah. Yummy yummy yummy.
I've promised myself I'm keeping this job, shortest duration(self-imposed) = 6 months, unless I'm offered employment elsewhere that pays me at least half a grand more. And that's sooo not gonna happen. I'm ok with my salary package; can afford to save a bit every month. Don't need anything more, at this moment. This moment refers to the coming few months, up till mid 2007. We'll see how it goes then.
Must buy 4D this wednesday! Got a power number in my head.

Mmm.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guess what ppl? Guess what guess what guess what guess what???
I'm going jogging!!!!!
Stop laughing/ get those jaws off your keyboard/ wipe that skeptical look off your face. It's for real, I'm actually gonna perform a form of exercise! Normally I do sit-ups whenever I feel like my tummy looks like that of most of the indian cinema actresses. Flab, flab, and can you say FLAB? Noone's ever ready for all that jelly; Beyonce was so right. So besides attempting to completely flatten my tummy, I've been doing none else, and that is totally changing cos I've 'widened' in more places than I'd like to have. I feel like a mix of Jyothika and Ramba. *shudders*
Jogging/running works on your stamina too, which will be so useful for me, since running a pathetic distance for the bus leaves me panting like a dog.
Geethu's coming with, by the way. Absolute yay-ness! If I were to jog alone I'd probably have found some lame-assed excuse to satisfy myself with and had bread for dinner. And my mom wld have scolded me for trying to lose weight(the woman thinks I'm skinny; wtf, yah?) and waved a plate of prawn sambal and fresh, fragrant rice under my nose. So I wld have had 2 dinners in one night. Marvy notion, but a horrid one at the same time! Jelly belly. Bleaurgh.
Oh well, got to go dig out some old pair of trackies. Not much time left, so toodles!

To blog after so long(mmm... 2 weeks, I think), feels like I'm Mr. Rip Van Winkle awaking from a deeeep, DEEEEEEP slumber.
Actually no lah, I'm so used to blogging with long intervals, almost entirely due to laziness. Notice, I used the word 'almost'.
My mom's been dragging me to stay with her, from this sister's house to that sister's house to the other sister's house, for the past few months. Oh the perils of having 3 married sisters and a very prone-to-loneliness mother. It's not that bad, I guess, having a slightly nomadic life, but it does get old after a bit. We all know about my newfound love for sleeping in the buff, and it's not easy letting go of something so wonderful so soon, y'know. I can't even sleep without my bra on when I'm elsewhere man. Sad, sad, sad. I know you feel my pain.
What deepens my pain is the lack of internet connection at the houses of all 3 sisters. Lack of computers, more specifically. Those ppl don't need a comp, they say. I beg to differ. You don't need a computer unless you're dead. At least, in Singapore and such developed countries lah. So yep, no internet connection, no blogging. That's the reason why I'm blogging so little. Almost.
Anyways. My ex's deprivation(don't ask me what kind, and Sash, shut up) has been recently brought to my attention. Come to think of it, not so recent, since M told me abt the time(no wait, 2 times) that he asked her to act as his girlfriend for a day cos he'd bet with his buds that he'll be attached within a certain period of time, accomplishing(or acting like it) which, he receives SGD$150, give or take. This's the exact sorta thing he used to do back when we were attached. *shakes head* I'm still wondering if I was part of a bet too. Mmm.
Latest news is that there's this school or army related thing that requires him to bring 1 person as a partner/date. And guess who he asks? R. Like dunno wtf he's trying to prove right? He outright asked her in an msn convo. Damn weird lah. I don't mind him developing a thing for her or even for M(he used to refer to her as sister), for that matter, but what he's doing seems a little off to me. R says it doesn't seem like he's fully over me, which I totally abhorr. 2 years already y'know. It's not like I stayed single after breaking up with him; I got with Jay like, less than a week later(so shoot me). So I see no reason why he shld have no reason to be over it.
Him asking a bestie of mine out is giving me weird vibes. It's like, I feel like he's gettin associated with me somehow. Not bad vibes, but weird ones. Like, why my friends, of all ppl, rite? He's a person with a good heart, I know. Just had lotsa stuff in him I cldn't stand after a while. He deserves a pretty and good-natured girl. :)
Change of topic.

Wow.
He smsed me a few days ago bitching abt my previous blog entry, which he concluded with a don't-reply-cos-this-has-gotta-our-last-convo-and-you're-a-piece-of-shit, or something like that. And now he bitch-smses twinnie abt what she tagged. And uses the don't-reply thingie too. Like wtf, right? Makes me wonder, what does he not want to hear? And why sms in the first place?
It's like, he needs to deny his being lame... by being lamer. If I were in his position, I wldn't even bother.
So dude, seriously? Don't bother.
Oh, off to Madhu's house. Toodles!

Some humans are ass-diggers. Especially insecure bitches who think their boyfriends are wanted material but are in actual fact, so NOT. I say, eww-ness. Besides, I'm very much attached to someone else entirely.
WHAT WLD I WANT THAT ONE FOR? BLEAURGH.
I'm disgusted.
Weird how I felt sympathy for the little gf initially. Shlda said alot more to her. Her bf got problem, why come to me? And she's so emotional about something so small and insignificant, it'd be interesting to see her reaction to the bigger stuff. But then again, maybe it's good I didn't tell her cos she probably deserves the deception. But then again, no woman deserves to be deceived by a sweet talking girlfriend-manager, no matter how skinny she is.
Sigh, sympathy again.
But this's for sure, that girl needs to wake up and smell the shit.

My brother-in-law preys on newspapers.
You shld see him read the papers; he gets to them slowly, leisurely spreads them open, devours them, then suddenly(and weirdly) puts them back together in a very rough manner and tosses them to the floor. And they'll be all crumply and out of shape; traumatised.
I wld find it slightly amusing, if not for the fact that it annoys me! I have to put them all in order if I wanna read the papers... which is something I do... sometimes.
Alrite, off to do some late-night cleaning. Toodles!

Changed my song. It's one of my absolute favourites, and I am convinced that anyone who possesses even an ounce of dislike for it has not got any taste in music. I'm never a music Nazi but I'm making a well-deserved exception this time!
Exhibition at my sister's gallery tmr. No, later today, since it's almost 2am. Have to go traditional(Mom's way of making sure I don't reveal anything except my arms, if need be) and I have no frikkin idea what to wear. And my cupboard's so messy, I'm gonna have such a hard time looking for anything decent since all my traditional stuff are stuffed deep inside; they've not seen daylight for months. Sigh... sian lah makkal.
Oh well, at least I'll get to sleep naked today. Yippeedee yiminee!!
Toodles!

Happy National Day, ppl! *flashes red and white panties*
Actually, I'm wearing green ones but anyhooooo...
Did my nails today. I absolutely adore them. Very very pale gold(layers and layers of a thin shade) with blood-coloured tips. And when I say tips, I really do mean the absolute tip of each fingernail, meaning to say, an extremely thin lining following the curve of it. Lovely! Too bad I can't upload pics of my work; the connection from my phone to comp isn't functioning and, I've yet to re-activate the mms-ing and mailing facilities since the line got cut off few weeks ago. Speaking of which, my line might go disconnected sometime soon again... might. It's a pain having your line under a person who's already got another one. Especially if they got huge-assed bills. Got to dig out the prepaid card. *sighs*
I've been cooking more lately. I made lunch 4 or 5 days back; brocolli and button mushrooms and cheese and whatnot for the sauce, little grated-potato omelettes, and coated tomatoes deep fried. With rice tho, cos there was no pasta, but my folks didn't mind. And day before yesterday, I made a huge chicken pie, and a small vegetarian pie, y'know the really simple sort with the fillings layed out and a thick layer of mashed potato pressed onto them. Had to do a vege one cos my 3rd sis and her hubby were staying over, and everybody loved it! I added a lot of ingredients that I never wld have added way back, thinking it's probably not suited to the recipe but decided to think 'what the heck, if I'm even thinking it MIGHT go, it shld go in' and it worked!!
I love raisins.
Next, I'm gonna try out Turkish recipes. Any suggestions?

Would you ppl believe, last night was the very first time I've slept in the buff? Been sleeping beside my sisters and my mom so long, so was never given the chance to try it out. I'm sooo gonna do it again. I love it! Liberating, and I didn't wake up till morning, unlike most instances.
Just watched Atlantis on Disney. Fascinating! I wonder if there actually are civilisations that are entirely unknown to mankind. And if they have this huge energy source that serves them and protects them in many ways too. Something like our sun I guess... but with supernatural powers. Mmm.
Ah, gotta go over to my sister's house. Screening of Mummy Returns! I'm late as it is.
I'm coming Madhuuuu!!!!

I realise I've not been blogging as much as I shld for the past few... or many, months. Not thinking things out here has resulted in me staring into space at an increasingly frequent rate.
I was taking a look at my GoStats.com visitor paths (you can see the link to my site's GoStats info, at the very end of the box with my music and friends' links and archives, etc) and realised that some ppl have been viewing a few pages from my archives. I checked the specific links out just for the fun of it, and realised the huge difference between my writing style. I used to write quite a bit more 'cheem' -ly and my sentence formations actually varied and all. Also, I used to sound a lot more cheery. And more self-explanatory, which isn't a good thing necessarily. And entries were posted with more consistency. Overall ah, I become very the boring already lor. *scratches ass*
I have lost the patience and am losing the ability to successfully engage myself with substance to speculate on. Very bad, really. I feel my brain deteriorating. Not gonna let that happen.
Expect me to say much more.

Somebody's set the big fake tree right outside my house on fire. This girl who lives above us knocked on our door on her way up and went, "Eh, your tree burning." She was nice enough to bring us a pail of water to put the coals(yeah, coals, it'd been burning for an hour) out. You might be wondering why we didn't get any smell to alert us of it. We in fact did... but me and my mom were thinking it's coming from the funeral that's still taking place at the void deck below, cos they're burning candles and joss sticks and whatnot. I loved that old tree. It emitted a smell of burning wax as it died.
It's an ugly watery stump now. Oh well.
Weird. Anyways.
Today was marvellous tho, with Jay. Very very very very very very very the nice lor. :-p
I MISS YOU!!! :(
And I want MORE!!

And I want MORE!!
And we two lovers shall not sit afar,
Critics of nature, but the joyous sea
Shall be our raiment, and the bearded star
Shoot arrows at our pleasure! We shall be
Part of the mighty universal whole,
And through all aeons mix and mingle with the Kosmic Soul!
We shall be notes in that great Symphony
Whose cadence circles through the rhythmic spheres,
And all the live World's throbbing heart shall be
One with our heart; the stealthy creeping years
Have lost their terros now, we shall not die,
The Universe itself shall be our Immortality.
-Oscar Wilde, Panthea
2nd time I'm posting this poem up, but you know why I do it. Happy Anniversary, sweetiekins. :)

To be or not to be.
Talking abt being single.
I can never say that I know how it is to feel lonely and really mean it. There's constantly someone to talk to, someone to go out with, so many ppl to laugh with. I have my family, and many close friends who matter to me and to whom I know I mean a lot to. And I have never craved for love from a man, as in, love that you expect to recieve when you're attached, cos I nvr gave myself the chance to, I guess.
Maybe I'm addicted to being in a relationship? I dunno.
Being 'single' the past few months has opened my eyes in ways that I nvr thot it wld. I wanted the break cos I needed it. 4 yrs plus, almost constantly attached to someone, whadya expect? A much needed breather. Helped me learn a few things abt some ppl, myself included. 1 or 2 inane(hopefully) fears and worries have surfaced too. Haha.
Now I'm thinking tho. Has this been of any use, at all? Wld I have been better off not going thru all that shit? I'm making it sound like it was bad, which isn't true. But it wasn't all 'woohoo, I'm SINGLE!'. Come to think of it, I nvr felt that way.
You see, I still don't frikkin know what it's like to be single. It's probably the most unconventional 'break' ever. Haha.
Which brings me back to wondering if all of it, the whole of the break, meant anything at all.
It WAS an attempt... but a bloody lame one at that. It wasn't the same as being attached, but it was somewhere near it. I did feel things I've nvr felt before, but they are so small in comparison to feeling what I always have felt.
The tiny, yet sweet sensation of the sort of freedom I let myself explore was marvellous. It really was beautiful, and I loved it. But I'm not gonna say that that's what I want, more than anything, cos I sure as hell wldn't mean it.
I want happiness. And why think of striving towards it when I've got it? I'm not letting something good go.
You shldn't be left hanging. It's not fair to you. I'm sure you'll understand if I wanted more time apart, but I know for a fact that you aren't and won't be happy, and won't have any peace at all. I'm not willing to let you feel like crap any longer.
My world doesn't revolve around me.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with eyes wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Where is the trust?
I wouldn't know, would I. I've let go of lots of it.
Except in a few people. And you know who you are, my sweetie pies. :) I don't say this often enough, but thank you so much for all the trust I have in you.
So many secrets; so many things about so many people. And so little trust to go around.
P.S: Ragani's back! :) Chocolate sprees and at least one *****ing (:-p) extravaganza coming up, babes!
P.P.S: And hopefully, a slumber party. :-D

It's been 12 days since I last blogged, and guess what's new? I got my nails done, again! Haha.
I had a frenchie done on my fingernails. Pretty! My first manicure, believe it or not. My manicure-virginity's burst! Aaaanyways. Got new shoes. Want to take a look?

And here's a close-up:

Those funny-looking strips that're stuck to the back of the shoes were done by the lovely store assistant at Mondo. They're there to prevent the scarring of my skin. Wore those shoes yesterday, and I've ugly-assed scars. :( Oh well, love them anyway!
I'm hungry.
Toodle-loo.
P.S: HEY KAMIL!!! (shout-out, at his request. :-p)

Ta daa!!

A little untidy, and not the most creative design, but I am soooo proud of myself!! *beams*
Being literally in between jobs can be really taxing. It's soooo tiring being bored, man. Sigh. Oh well. Maybe I shld do my toenails tmr.
