After 30 minutes of small talk, we passed my 3rd sister's wedding invite to her, sought her fake blessings and left for Madhu's house! (cue wild cheering)
We had dinner there and ended up staying. Which means, no teeth-brushing facilities! Ended up brushing my teeth in the morning with Colgate and my finger. Cldn't brush my tongue. Ewwwwyuck. I rushed to the bathroom to brush properly the instant I got home in the afternoon.
Spent the day cleaning the house and stuffing myself on KFC. Y'know, I prefer the Original chicken. Crispy's way too crispy. I felt like I was eating pakora instead of fried chicken. *rolls eyes*
Oh crap, gtg. Sister wants to use the comp. Bleaurgh.

You are a Toad croak! Meaning you are a
fairly normal person! You are mostly a happy
person, getting on with your life with only a
few croaks and moans! You are also a practical
person and probably quite a hard worker. You
enjoy the simple things in life like the
company of your friends, going shopping or to
the cinema, reading a good book and being with
your family or loved one.
Your good points
are that you are even tempered, fairly happy go
lucky and a good friend to have around! Your
bad points are that you sometimes lack the
drive to succeed, being happy with what you
already have. Which really, isn't such a bad
point at all!
Mostly content with your life,
you are a happy, well-rounded person!
Are you a Princess, Enchantress, Faerie, Mermaid or Toad? (with pictures!)

Athletic my ass, man. I mean, come on, look at me. My thighs aka The Vertical Balloons are enough proof that I don't do anything remotely athletic, unless you count stair-climbing.
All the other stuff are true, especially the fact that I'm stylish. *throws fur coat over shoulder and bats lashes* Ok, enough puking. But the part where it's said that I want my partner to be conservative is total rubbish. I don't really mind conservativeness...much. Wat I cannot stand is narrow-mindedness. And lotsa times, both traits come together. So when my bf's both, I'd probably be beating him up everyday.
*thanks god for J*

And if you're one of those shitheads who're looking for someone to have a 'good time' with, this's the wrong place. Do I look like I'm pimping myself? I can be friends but don't ask for my number cos you're not getting it. Scroll up and read my profile again. See that? 'In a Relationship'. Shoo.
Me the man! Woohooo!!

Y'know, I've not blogged about my sister's wedding and my birthday dinner yet! Gosh. They happened in December. I'm the shittiest blogger alive.
*slaps self 23 times*
So, wat have I been doing at home? Nothing. Besides everyday cleaning stuff and reading, nothing. Have not read as much as I'd liked to have lately too, cos my mom cannot stand the sight of me being stationary. The woman thinks that if she, an ageing person, can do housework like she does, loads younger and energetic me shld be comparable to a freak-assed cleaning machine.
It was good cleaning my cupboard yesterday, though. Cos I had to try on lots of clothes to see if they'd miraculously fit, and guess wat? I actually fit into them! There is a god. I've been wanting to put on weight, but there're so many outfits I love that require un-whale-like attributes to look good in. So I'm replacing my 'Get Fat For Bigger Boobs' mantra with 'Stay The Same, Love Yourself'. It's gonna be a whole new era, like no other. Ok, that sentence was stupid. I'm bored, bear with me.
I was complaining to Kay only last night about my microscopic boobs. And I was thinking to myself, "Man, this is getting tiring, this dissatisfaction." A moment later, a few electric charges flew about my brain and this teeny, rusty light bulb in it flickered a bit and lit up. These words flashed across my mind:
THEN STOP LAH!
So I shall. And if Jay insists on my not changing myself, why shld I care anymore?
Offical declaration: I'm 33-24-36 and I'm bloody happy about it.
*dances away into the evening in blissful oblivion*

Was out with Shamie yesterday. *grins like crazy* She found my eye make-up warped, so she spent almost 15 minutes wiping my stubborn eyeliner away and applying hers. And know wat? It turned out fanatastico! And wat's most amusing is the way she was so proud of herself. *rolls eyes and pukes all over Sham* She was all, "Man, I'm good!" Well, she was good...but not really. *looks up and whistles*
My sister's busy, so I helped her with her bitch of a workload by teaching art to little kids at The Bayshore today. It was fun! There were only 2 kids, a cute 9-yr-old nerd, and a dark, curly-haired 7-yr-old girl. For the first hour, they were real quiet and well-behaved. At the stroke of 12 though, all hell broke loose.
Here's wat the convo sounded like:
Me: Colour the hands.
She: Don't want.
Me: You can't have a brown face and white hands, y'know.
She: *ponders, then starts making farting noises with mouth*
He: Sick.
She: *makes more farting noises* I'm farting! HAHAHAHA!
Me: I don't know her. You know her?
She: I'm farting, see! *giggles madly*
He: I don't know her. *shakes head vehemently*
She: *wiggles about in chair, mouth-farting non-stop and giggling like mad*

Me : You, Ma!

It's a stay-home day! Well sort of... I did meet my cousin for a bit. But that was at White Sands, too close to home to be considered going out. I went to the library alone! I looove doing that. I know it's lame, but seeing all those books, all those stories, little worlds I can jump into, just waiting for me to pick them up and absorb them, it gives me a tingly feeling. And doing it alone amplifies it.
Right, I shall shut up.
My cousin interrupted my orgasmic library experience with a loud, "Boo."
*rolls eyes*
Her friend was with her. And she was all, "Ohmygoshyourcousinissoooopretty!" Thank you, thank you very much. *gives a teary Ms.Teen USA wave*
*ass laughs, then pukes*
I had an Old Changki currypuff! Been craving for them so much lately. Yummmm. Want one now. It'd go perfectly with some Ceylon tea.
Mmm. Maybe I shld make some.
Bah, my uncle's here. I don't have the chance to decide whether I wanna make tea now or not, cos I have to. I'm the official tea-maker of the house. They say it's bcos my tea's good, but I think it's just cos I'm the youngest of the house, not counting Madhu, that is. Also, I'm the only one who doesn't sleep in the afternoons, and therefore am the only one awake enough by tea-time.
*rolls eyes*
Oh crap. No more Ceylon tea. Only Lipton! Bah. Lipton's half-assed man. As in, not strong enough. You gotta use many bags for normal-strength tea. It's good for teh-o, though. I like my teh-o weak. If it's too strong, it becomes tea that lacks milk.
The water's boiled. Gotta go soak a shitload of tea-bags in it. :-)

There is tremendous freedom in letting go. It is liberation to free ourselves of things that clutter our lives; too many possessions, useless emotions, unhealthy habits, old beliefs, even people that drain our energy. All of these things and more can weigh us down. Every once in awhile it's good to "clean out our closets" literally and figuratively.
Like pruning dead branches or like a snake shedding an old skin, we need to let go of the what no longer serves or what no longer fits, so that there is room for something new, alive, and what is needed at this time in our lives. Yet, we are a possessive society. We often hold on to things, feelings, and relationships out of habit or, many times, out of fear of being without. For so much of learning to let go is about learning to trust. We have to be able to trust that, indeed, new branches will grow, that there is a new skin under the old one. And yet, to the degree that we are willing to let go, we are able to receive. When we stop holding on and clinging to anything, we realize we have everything.
For in reality, we really own nothing. Certainly, we don't own people. Our spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, children are not really "ours." Even if we own the title to our house or car, such possessions can be gone in a moment, taken by a natural disaster, an accident, or financial circumstances. Native Americans could not grasp the European concept of "owning" land, anymore than one can own the sky. For everything belongs to the universe, as even we do. When we allow ourselves to rethink our sense of "ownership," it is easier to let go. We no longer need to feel burdened by the responsibility of having to hold on to something. Rethink the value of a prized book collection, a coveted job, and feelings for an old flame. Perhaps it isn't necessary to physically get rid of something, but letting go of the power that a person, ideology, or material object possesses is truly freeing.
Hmm...true.

Just calculated this, if we have kids, they'll be quarter Tamil, five-eighth Malayalee and one-eight Ceylonese. - 1st April, 4.42 pm
We had a mini-tiff a bit earlier.
J: You angry with me babe?
D: Just a little fed-up. Lack of you.
J: Well I miss you too...*kiss*
J: (half an hour later) Sorry lah...Peesaa...
D: Oh my god. SHUT UP, you!
J: Lemme guess... U just started laughing rite? :-p
D: You wish! :-D I'm ig-noring-g you, by the way, mister. Hmph!
J: Peesaa.. Don't like dat lah... Peesaa...
D: Oh well, I'm beginning to pity you. *small kiss*
J: BIG KISS lah... Peesaa...
D: Sigh. *drags feet, and gives J a huge, sopping wet kiss* There you go. *grumbles*
J: Eh... Must force urself some more... :-(
D: One must not appear over-zealous, darlin. If I cld have my way with you now, you'd have no breath to spare to speak with.
J: Oooh... That a threat or promise?
D: More like a glimpse into the future. ;-)

Your Existing Situation
Sensuous. Inclined to luxuriate in things which give gratification to
the senses, but rejects anything tasteless, vulgar, or coarse.
Your Stress Sources
Wants to overcome a feeling of emptiness and of separation from others.
Believes that life still has far more to offer and that she may miss her
share of experiences if she fails to make the best use of every
opportunity. She therefore pursues her objectives with a fierce
intensity and commits herself deeply and readily. Feels herself to be
completely competent in any field in which she engages, and can
sometimes be considered by others to be interfering or meddlesome.
Your Restrained Characteristics
Believes that she is not receiving her share--that she is neither
properly understood nor adequately appreciated. Feels that she is being
compelled to conform, and close relationships leave her without any
sense of emotional involvement.
Clings to her belief that her hopes
and ideas are realistic, but needs encouragement and reassurance.
Applies very exacting standards to her choice of a partner and wants
guarantees against loss or disappointment.
Your Desired Objective
Intense, vital, and animated, taking a delight in action. Activity is
directed towards success or conquest and there is a desire to live life
to the fullest.
Your Actual Problem
The fear that she might be prevented from achieving the things she wants
leads her to play her part with an urgent and hectic intensity.
Your Actual Problem #2
Fights against restriction or limitation, and insists on developing
freely as a result of her own efforts.
The stress sources part and actual problem no. 1 aren't very accurate but the rest are. VERY. *nods*

Happy Birthday Jeevitha dahling!!!
She's the only person I know who was born on April Fools' Day. The Born Fool. :-D
The last time I saw her was in December, my birthday dinner. I miss her man. But I know not seeing her for a long time will not affect what we have the least bit. Our friendship has undergone quite a number of trials, such as objection from our families, and even from some friends.
I knew her when I was 10. I'd just shifted from Woodlands to Pasir Ris, and ofcos, had to start at another school; Elias Park Primary. I had to cut my beautiful tresses short! Stupid rule, chin-length hair for girls. Bloody asshole principal Ms. Chiang. May she rot in principal hell.
Anyways! I wasn't close to Jeevitha in primary school. I did talk to her though, cos she was friendly, and I was friendly and all that. After the PSLEs, we got to different secondary schools, but had to go to the same place to study Tamil cos our schools didn't offer the language. I was initially pissed I got into a school that didn't offer Tamil, cos my parents were the ones who made the choices for me. But I later realised that it was a wonderful excuse for coming home late after school! *cackles*
So yeah, as I was saying, going to the same centre to study brought Jeevitha and me closer, and we were surprised at how good we were together. We even started resembling each other! This wasn't on purpose; we were 'blooming' and features changed. So many girls tried breaking us apart, by spreading rumours and bitching to us abt the other and such. Jealous bitches. May they rot in ankle-socks and key-chain hell!
After secondary school, we both went to NYP. Me being me, quit the course in 3 months, but she stayed on. Good for her. *mutters at self*
I've not seen her much after that, but when we do meet, we always have so much to talk about, so much to say. We'd just pick up where we left off, effortlessly. Lovely, really. :-)
Jeevitha, I know you won't be reading this, but I love you! And Happy 20th, you little shite. :-D
