Twinnie! The stat.jpg thingie didn't work, as a background. think it's way too tiny. :-( Oh, and I have to go off, so I can't do much to the blogskin now. Is the black tree pic ok? Like, to put at the side or something? I'm still on the lookout for btr pics.

Sorry about taking so long! Mom's not being very good about internet usage.

*grumbles*

Tests, from Tickle

What Kind of Cool Are You?

Dhanya, you're Crazy Cool

You taking the tried and true path? We doubt it. A wild child with lots of passion, you often prefer to leap without looking. This means you don't mind taking a chance or getting in a little trouble from time to time. If you learned something new or pushed yourself, then hey, it was worth it.

Sure, you've got a sensible side, too, but you'd rather get lost in the moment and do something no one else has done before. Sound pretty cool? It certainly is.

Discover Your Past Life

C'mere, boy — in your former life you were a beagle named Scooter who hailed from Allamakee, Iowa. The cutest puppy on the entire farm, you were so adored that the Allamakee High Junior Varsity Basketball team chose you to be their mascot. You absolutely loved the attention — the cheers, the cool purple-and-yellow jersey, and, most of all, the pizza parties after the games. But you fell out of favor when your sister gave birth to Niko, a snot-nosed young pup who became the newest recruit for the JV team's mascot position. As Niko's popularity grew, the team began to neglect you. No longer did they chant your name when they held you over the basket to slam dunk the ball. No more did they make T-shirts with your adorable mug above the "Antonio's Chinese Food" logo. Then, finally, they fired you when you bit the point guard's mother. After much moping and grieving, you decided to be happy for little Niko. So, armed with your new contentment, you found it in yourself to support Niko and the JV team — not from the court, but from your new spot in the bleachers.

I've almost finished Sash's blogskin, just a few more changes to make. Go here www.sashi-cow.blogspot.com. I did the blogging. *sniggers*

Any suggestions, tell me!
I broke a nail! *wails*

My nails don't get broken or chipped often. Actually, it's happened to me only once before. I had trouble sliding my window close cos it was jammed stuck. I exerted a shitload of strength, the window got moving and *WHAM* my nail broke. And it happened just a few hours after painstaking self-manicuring! Had to file all my nails down.

A while ago, I was searching for my 2nd sister's gold bag in the storeroom. There're 4 women in the house. This means we've got a shitload of bags between us. And that means, lotsa bags get their existence forgotten about, and get pushed deeper and deeper into the piles of bags.

My 2nd sister, inconveniently for me, remembered that she owned a gold bag that'd match her saree perfectly. Since she's pregnant, she's not allowing herself to do anything at all. A new policy of hers which was actually implemented yrs ago. *rolls eyes*

If there's something wrong, in the neighbourhood...who do you call?

GHOSTBUSTERS!

If you've got some stupid job, that you want done...who do you call?

DHANYA NAIR!

So yep, I searched for her bag, and it wasn't an easy task. Searching for any bag in my house's not an easy task. I was going deep into the pile when I slipped on the vacuum cleaner's nozzle, reached wildly out to and roughly held on to a hard plastic board thingie. And now, the nail on the middle finger of my right hand's broken.

Time to get that stupid nail file out and file away like a deranged chimapnzee.

I was watching Jeans the other day. It's a tamil movie, and I've got no idea why it's called Jeans. I mean, the movie's got no connection with denim stuff! Well Aishwarya Rai and Prashanth did wear jeans at some shots. Mmm. It wld make sense if it was called Genes cos the movie's got 2 pairs of twins. *shrugs*

Anyway! There was this song where they'd be singing and dancing at all seven of the then current 7 Wonders of the World. I just love her clothes, man. Especially this black gown with a billowing sorta skirt. So beautiful! *gushes* She was wearing it when she was dancing near The Leaning Tower of Pisa, I think. Is that how you spell 'Pisa'?

I was wondering, who chooses the 7 Wonders of the World? I heard nowadays they do it by holding online polls. Mmm.

Y'know, I don't think Taj Mahal is a symbol of love. I mean, yes, it is beautiful, and the story behind it is quite romantic. But Shah Jahan didn't build the shrine himself. He was moping at a distance, watching it being built. If he had built it himself, or more realistically, at least helped in the building of it, it'd have been much more romantic, and much more appreciate-able. It's not the thought that counts, cos thoughts come easy. And him, being a rich king, can easily have something built, at an order. He shld have sacrificed time and energy and maybe even blood to build it if he wanted show how much he loved Mumtaj. Then again, I heard he wasn't feeling too hot when she died. He was a sick man. It's the workers, the skilled craftsmen who made Taj Mahal wat it is today. Also, the designers, architects.

Oh, I heard Shah Jahan was kinda evil. He ordered the thumbs of his top architect to be cut off, so that he wldn't be able to do a replica of the monument. That's a big no-no, if you don't want ill-feelings directed towards you. The architect was so pissed (understandabley) that he decided to do some 'final touch' to the Taj Mahal, which resulted in the almost constant dripping of water from the top of it. A small scratch in the perfectness of its splendidness. Sad huh? But it sure makes it interesting.

*yawn*

I'm bored.

I forgot to say this here: MY SISTER'S PREGNANT!

*somersaults like crazy*

I'm gonna be an aunty again! And Jay's gonna have another kid calling him 'Jeevitha Elaicha'. Yes, Madhu calls him that. 'Elaicha' means uncle in Malayalam, and 'Jeevitha' is a good girlfriend of mine. Hilarious, ain't it!

Oh oh, and Kit's gonna have another kid calling her 'Kidney Aunty'. And! Twinnie's gonna be called 'Sashi-Cow'! :-D

And I'm gonna be called 'Nyanya' all over again.

*sighs happily*

I need personal freedom.

I do not like being treated this way. I do not appreciate having the pathetic excuse for freedom that I had to be taken away from me just because you thought it was too much. You cannot expect me to be an adult when you treat me like a child. That is not how you bring your child up.

If I've got to do something drastic, I won't hesitate. Not something stupid, just drastic.

Seeing Jay today made me so happy. So happy.

:-)

I'm in pain. So much pain.

Nope, my mom didn't tell me I was a bad daughter again. I'm just MENSTRUATING.

*screams and dies*

Excruciating! Sash called earlier in the afternoon and in between the lame-assed jokes, I made these weird-assed noises like "Urrrrggggrrrkkkkk!" and "Pffffffoorrrggghhoooopppppfff!"

Grrrrr....*grits teeth*

Sunday, January 16, 2005

Jay shaved himself bald. God.
You're not gonna believe this.

9 ppl are coming over tmr to stay.

My house is way too small for 9 extra ppl! Those of you who have come over shld know. No one's gonna have any breathing space. We're gonna be cramped up like the molecules of a metal, vibrating in our own little spaces and occasionally bumping into each other.

They're from Australia, relatives of a mutual relative. They'll be here for 2 days, and the mutual relative, my uncle, felt that they absolutely had to experience my family's hospitality. *rolls eyes* Oh well. My family, especially my mom, is very friendly to non-members in general. And we seem to have made a great impression on my uncle. We're not very closely related, yet he told my mom and dad that he loves us so much. Seriously, I was a teeny bit freaked out by that little revelation. I mean, we see each other what, every 2 yrs? Yet he managed to develop such affection for us!

That's not all that freaked me out though. In fact, this freaked me out way more than the fact that he loves us: He wants to get me married to his son. And he's bloody serious about it! His son and I played together as kids, and somehow I became known as his girlfriend. My uncle used to address me as 'daughter-in-law' but I never took it seriously. It's quite different now though. I'm totally freaked out, and I've made up my mind to be cautious and to never speak to Bavin (his son) even if my life depended on it.

Ever heard your parents talk to another parent about marrying you off their kid? I've been in that situation quite a few times, and it happens mostly during weddings and such gatherings. My parents won't bring it up though. It's always the other party. And they'd start exchanging info about kids, being careful to mention only the good stuff. I'd pretend not to hear, but it won't work, cos often, they'd be looking directly at me. I'd feel like I'm a huge slab of meat at a meat market. Gosh.

Oh man. Sis needs to use the computer, as always. Bah.
I don't know what I'm supposed to do, but I can't not do anything cos the problem will just stay there, like an unfinished puzzle. 2 choices and both'll have it's own set of bad consequences. It doesn't just concern me either.

It's not going to be so smooth anymore.

I just love my blog's new look! *gushes*

Friday, January 14, 2005

I miss so many ppl right now. :-(

As usual, I miss Jay. You may wonder why I miss him all the time. The reason is, we meet about once a week and not more often then that cos my mom'll bitch that my sis'll bitch to her. Yep, my mom's afraid of my sister's bitching! So, I cannot see Jay as often as I wish, which I hope will change soon cos I've started looking for a job, much more seriously then before. I notice that when I'm working, I'm treated differently. Jay put it down to the fact that I'm considered 'useful' then. So yep, time to get a job, then not like the place and quit or get fired! *drags feet*

It's the first time I'm in a relationship where I want to meet the person more than once a week. I'm actually wishing I were with him everyday. :-( I'm just falling so deep.

*falls*

I miss Sash too! Twinnie! We must meet up once I'm 'ungrounded'! *sighs*

Char! So long no see, man. *weeps*

Kit! You're busy with work. But we managed to do that photo album thing together and it was so fun! :-D

I miss a few other ppl too. But they won't be reading this. Besides, my mom's screaming, so I need to go. Ah well.

See ya!

P.S: Changed my background!! I'm sooo in love with it/him!!

Just got back from a little outting with my 1st sis. We watched Meet The Fockers! It's the 2nd time I'm watching that movie, and I still laughed like hell!

*thinks about some funny scenes and laughs ass off again*

You know, the humping dog amazes me. It's marvellous how it manages to have sex with absolutely anything! Oh oh, the baby boy's just soooo adorable. *gushes* I feel like kissing and biting his rosy little cheeks! I wonder if they put on make-up for him. If yes, how did they get him to stand still? Maybe they did it when he was having his nap or something. I wonder if they used twins too. See, in the show business, twins actors are favoured, when it comes to kids, cos there is only an amount of time a child is allowed to work, according to the law. So, twins wld be much btr to fit into a day's schedule.

You know, I'm just typing away, non-stop. But I gotta stop soon, cos I gotta leave for dinner, with Jay and his friends. First time I'm gonna see them. Big group. Perfect setting for the anti-social me to come out and shine, in full glory. Sigh. Oh well, I'll just smile alot.

Ok, it's gonna be 5.30pm. Must rush. See ya!

Wanted to blog, but Mom just came back. Sigh.

Blog tmr!! :-)

Tuesday, January 4, 2005

I got myself high last night on 1 and a half full glasses of whisky, raw. I was all alone, and was bored. So I thought to myself, "Hey, why not just grab something and drink it?"

I wish I grabbed a cup of water instead.

Sigh.

No alcohol for me for a loooong time.
