Where is the trust?

I wouldn't know, would I. I've let go of lots of it.

Except in a few people. And you know who you are, my sweetie pies. :) I don't say this often enough, but thank you so much for all the trust I have in you.

So many secrets; so many things about so many people. And so little trust to go around.

P.S: Ragani's back! :) Chocolate sprees and at least one *****ing (:-p) extravaganza coming up, babes!
P.P.S: And hopefully, a slumber party. :-D

It's been 12 days since I last blogged, and guess what's new? I got my nails done, again! Haha.

I had a frenchie done on my fingernails. Pretty! My first manicure, believe it or not. My manicure-virginity's burst! Aaaanyways. Got new shoes. Want to take a look?

And here's a close-up:

Those funny-looking strips that're stuck to the back of the shoes were done by the lovely store assistant at Mondo. They're there to prevent the scarring of my skin. Wore those shoes yesterday, and I've ugly-assed scars. :( Oh well, love them anyway!

I'm hungry.

Toodle-loo.

P.S: HEY KAMIL!!! (shout-out, at his request. :-p)

Being literally in between jobs can be really taxing. It's soooo tiring being bored, man. Sigh. Oh well. Maybe I shld do my toenails tmr.

Got the link to these tests of Sindhu's blog, which looks quite nice, I must say. I shld, shldn't I, cos I did the skin for her! *beams*

Are You Right or Left Brained?
personality tests by similarminds.com

Left brain dominant individuals are more orderly, literal, articulate, and to the point. They are good at understanding directions and anything that is explicit and logical. They can have trouble comprehending emotions and abstract concepts, they can feel lost when things are not clear, doubting anything that is not stated and proven.

Right brain dominant individuals are more visual and intuitive. They are better at summarizing multiple points, picking up on what's not said, visualizing things, and making things up. They can lack attention to detail, directness, organization, and the ability to explain their ideas verbally, leaving them unable to communicate effectively.

Overall you appear to be Right Brain Dominant.

Completely and utterly accurate! Amazing.

rarely irritated, positive, tough, non phobic, fearless, likes the unknown, self reliant, high self control, confident, trusting, strong instincts, prudent, optimistic, willful, likes parties, prefers a specialized career, takes charge, altruistic, strong, high self concept, adventurous, practical, thoughtful

This's a little similar to the earlier test... but not entirely. I uploaded this pic:

It was taken like... 2 yrs ago? That's Kit!

Anyways, I had to draw line measurements on my face and all, and this's what the test results said. Interesting, huh? Go try!

There's this Freud Inventory Test.

Freudian Inventory Results
Oral (36%) you appear to be stubbornly and irrationally against receiving help even when it might be the more intelligent option.
Anal (23%) you appear to be overly lacking in self control and organization, and possibly have a compulsive need to defy authority. If you are too scatterbrained, you will not develop much as a person as you will habitually switch paths before you ever learn anything.
Phallic (50%) you appear to have a good balance of sexual awareness and sexual composure.
Latency (33%) you appear to be overly practical; don't undervalue abstract learning, abstract learning increases your ability to make good decisions (and predictions) in the real world so it would be 'impractical' to shun it.
Genital (76%) you appear to have a progressive and openminded outlook on life unbeholden to regressive forces like traditional authority and convention.

Freuds theorized that there are 5 stages of psychological development. At the oral stage the main issue is dependency, at the anal stage the main issue is self control, at the phallic stage the main issue is sexual identity, at the latency stage it's skill development, and at the genital stage its creativity and productivity.

Freud theorized that psychological problems are related to problems during one or more of these stages. For example, being too cared for or too neglected causes someone to be orally fixated, too much or too little control causes someone to be anally fixated, insufficient parental role modeling causes phallic fixation.

An orally fixated person is either irrationally dependent (expects what they want to just appear) or irrationally independent (always refuses help).

An anally fixated person is either irrationally self controlled and servile to authority or has no self control and is compulsively defiant of authority.

A phallicly fixated person is either a sexual compulsive (sexually innappropriate/promiscuous) or sexually repressed.

Freud did not classify any latent fixation but I think it is as plausible as those at the other stages. I speculate that people that like to learn and acquire knowledge without any purpose or people that are compulsively non curious represent both dysfunctional ends of the latency spectrum.

The genital stage is the final Freudian developmental stage and according to Freud people don't all succeed at this. Freud believed the ideal for human happiness is to be happy in love and work, problems in one or the other cause unhappiness.

Like any personality system, Freud's developmental levels are just a theory, so, be speculative about your results.

This is the truest so far, really.

You know how it is when you've not been feeling yourself lately (read: IN A BAD MOOD) and someone keeps punching your arm or nudging at you cos it's fun for them? Sucks, doesn't it? This couple in my family (my family is sooo full of couples man. I'm the only unmarried one) just keeps irritating the shit outta me with their FARNY-assed jokes and supposedly physically-funny stuff. What the hell's so funny abt throwing a blanket over me when I'm watching tv/on the phone and pushing one of their body's weight on me? And sticking scotch tape on me and pulling it off? I'm one hairy chic (hey, I AM entirely indian) and let me tell you, that is most DEFINITELY NOT funny. And the thing is, it just does not stop!

Take this morning for example. I was reading the papers when my sister decided to amuse herself by calling me a donkey (or was it pig? mmm) and kicking me in the shin. Repeatedly. I expressed the fact that I didn't want her doin that as I'm not in the mood to smile at her for it. To which she said "Wah you think you so big ah?" And she did not cease kicking me! So I got frikkin sick of it and informed her that she was behaving like a stupid child. That did have its desired effect tho, as she did stop, but sadly, she chose to go into a rage, which resulted in lotsa stuff I've not heard about me for a pretty long time surfacing again. Unwanted comments/feedback, in a way. Boring. I was much more interested in my horoscope for the day anyway. I'm supposed to be really enthus abt something today, and others might find me aggresive. I'm typing away, working on Sindhu's skin and blogging at the same time, in my shorts and racerback tee, and my hair's a complete un-combed mess. Aggresive? Nope. Enthusiastic? Mmm... I am excited abt how Sindhu's skin is gonna turn out, so yep, my horoscope might be accurate afterall.

I don't believe I'm speaking in a coherent manner... my thoughts are all so jumbled up. I'm giving myself a week or 2, and I shld be entirely good. I musn't take any longer cos I can't afford to.

Payday's in a week. Wee! I'm allowing myself one pair of shoes. And maybe one top. I need more white tops. Oh, and I need to get lenses. What a pain in the ass, man. I HATE putting on lenses, but I'm stuck with it by choice as I hate lookin the way I do in my specs.

I need some cheese.

Toodle-loo!
