Right, I've found stuff to talk abt.
I got molested a week or 2 ago. It happened in the train, and was the most disgusting thing I've ever experienced. It makes the time I almost got taken advantage of by a guy friend appear way less revolting. Well actually it has to be much less revolting as nothing really happened with that friend(?) of mine, tho it was scary as hell.
Anyways. My 'molester' was this big indian fellow who's nationality was hard to discern. He didn't touch me or anything; all that was felt was by his bloody member. From Cityhall to Bugis, he had a ball of a time squashing himself up against my behind and left when I finally decided to turned to face his ugly form.
I know, I shld have raised my voice and screamed at him to get the hell away from me.
But, it doesn't work that way. I wanted to be sure that I was being molested before accusing someone of doing it, as the mrt train was packed, and I mean reeeeaaally packed. So what if before the train arrived, he was staring at me while I walked past him to get to the last cabin door? So what if few minutes later he appeared right behind me? So what if I cld feel his breath on my neck and hair? And so what if in the train, wherever I moved, he turned up right behind, pressing against me, making sure his fully erect dick cld get a good feel of me? I can nvr be quite sure if he's doing it intentionally, right?
No, not right.
If you're a woman, and you're reading this, take my advice. If a man is so close to you, he's pressing up against your ass and you can hear his breathing very clearly while the rest of commuters arnd you probably can't, he doesn't want your number; he just wants a piece of you, as much big a piece he can get while you wonder if you're being molested. Don't be stupid like I was.
He left with a 90-degree erection that showed right thru his loose pants. Another man, a malay middle-aged one, noticed the boner when its owner left and looked up at me with a quizzical and weirded-out expression.
My cheeks and ears were flaming with shame. It was the worst train ride home I've ever had. I kept being glanced at by some ppl, especially whenever I attempted to dicreetly wipe a tear away. The tears started flowing freely once I reached home. My family got very worked up, ofcos. They asked me what the jerk looked like and where I think he's from and all. Also, I got mixed advice as to whether I shld make a police complaint or not, and I'm still not decided abt it.
Ah. Oh well. I know what to do next time. I bloody hope there isn't a next time, tho. But what are the chances that I won't be molested anymore? There're always gonna be crowded areas, and there'll always be deserted alleys and such. While I was fuming at being taken advantage of, I pondered if an increase in the number of mrt trains in operation during peak periods wld have prevented me from being 'used'. I realised that maybe, it wld have, but there's a good possibility that it'd have mattered shit. There'll always be trashy characters arnd. They're among us. We've yet to come up with technology or system sophisticated enough to stop villainous deeds.
It's just up to us to take care of ourselves.
This brings me to talk abt men and their value in terms of security for females. And that's normally security against their own kind, ironically.
Are they really of any use?
Sure, if you've got your boyfriend with you, you probably won't get anyone chatting you up or trying to get too touchy. But what abt prevention of real dangerous occurences? A gang of guys can do anything they like to you, anything at all, even if you had a man on your side. It's easy to imagine; your boyfriend's sending you home and both of you are walking hand in hand, under your block. A big bunch of guys whom were sitting arnd at the senior citizens' corner you passed by a while ago appear seemingly from nowhere, and crush both your souls.
It's so easy. Just like that, you're outnumbered.
It might seem like a stupid reason to not need male company to you, but it kinda makes sense to me. I'm not trying to say that I don't need Jay, or don't want him or anything like that; I love him and need him, but I don't need him to fend off other guys. Cos I personally believe, what hits, hits. I don't see the use one man with me will be. I know, a woman alone is probably more vulnerable than a woman with a man. But I prefer being alone. And I know how to be careful. If I felt the constant need to have someone with me I might as well have stayed a child.
Shall I move on to lighter matters?
I'm getting married. :)
Late July 2008, Jay and I will be lawfully married. I cannot wait. :-D
Ok, I know I'm only 21, and no, I'm not pregnant. Yes, I know what I'm getting myself into. This is something I've thought long and hard abt, and it's the perfect thing to do now, after almost 4 yrs being just boyfriend and girlfriend. I love him, and want him to be mine forever.
He's now my fiance. A super super happy one. :)
I accept congratulations and gifts in advance!!! :-D
