I've not been online much these days. It shows, doesn't it? *yawns*
My 3rd sister and her hubby have flown off to India on business and will be back next week. I got them a flying-off present(I was the ONLY one who got them anything, weirdly) which Jay helped me choose; Jack Daniels-centred chocolates. I have one word for you:
OMG.
Ok, that's actually an abbreviation of 3 words, but I loved the chocs. Makes me wish I got them for myself. Oh well...since I don't really want to afford extravagances such as liquor chocolates, it'd be nice if somebody bought them for me. And since my birthday's in less than 20 days (19TH DECEMBER, PPL), it'd be the most perfect time and opportunity for me to be granted some of my teeny, wee widdle, eccentric wishes, such as GETTING LIQUOR CHOCS. No need to get the Jack Daniels one (though that'd be pretty darned great) cos it costs double as much as the bars do. Just a nice and pretty-cheap-in-comparison bar of champagne chocs will do. :-D Maybe Remy Martin. I want to try the vodka ones too. :-D
Oh, and if anyone's not sure what to get me, just sms me and ask. :-D
Sigh...who am I kidding. I'm not gonna get anything unless I hold a birthday party/dinner. Me and my friends don't even meet much. Mmm...2 weeks to go to meet up and get in touch. *ponders*

November is gonna end. Which means, 2005 is gonna end real soon too. =)
I am so excited! I'm looking forward to the rest of 2005, and more than that, to the beginning 2006 and beyond. I foresee more freedom given to me(by whom else, my mom ofcos), more things to worry abt(what else, $$$$$!!), thinner legs(hopefully), better skin(the sunburn's peeling off), and oh, have I mentioned more freedom?
My mom's been treating me more like an independent person(which is what I hope I'll be in time to come) lately. It feels much btr this way...and I don't have to explain to her exactly where I'm going, with whom, and what specific time I'll be home by whenever I go out. And, she almost nvr calls when I'm out. That is one part I am absolutely freaked out by. Well there is the exception of the time I was stayin over at Nan's...I called her back only at 1am. Stupid, stupid me. She was convinced there was something fishy going on, for which I don't blame her at all. Ahem. *darts eyes*
My family's gonna move, most probably late next year. All my sisters wld have settled into their own houses by the middle of 2006, and that wld leave my parents and me. Can you imagine? There're 8 of us in the house now(including Baby) and pretty soon, there'll only be 3 of us to the whole house.
All I can say is, WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
I can't wait for them all to be out[except for Baby though =(] and for my folks and I to move to a smaller place. I'm going to have so much fun! Sure, it'll feel weird having not much ppl arnd all of a sudden, but hey, I can get used to that, with no problems at all!!! :-D
I won't be living in that house for very long though. Cos I'll probably be married in some years. *smiles shyly at Jay* My sisters say that at the rate I'm going, I'll be married next year. Stooopid ladies. *rolls eyes* They've always thought I'll get married early, even before I met Jay...no idea why. It's just something they sorta know, they say. Just like how we knew my 2nd sis will get pregnant immediately after gettin married. And man, was it immediate! We used to call her 'highly fertile individual', and now, we've given her a slight promotion, which is the name of 'Fertility Goddess'. And me, I personally prefer the name 'cow', which she truly hates me for. :-D
Ah, time for work. Till next time. =)

I was having Mrityun baby in my arms this afternoon, rocking him to sleep. I watched his eyes close very slowly while his lashes made slight, fluttering movements. He was finally in slumberland, and I found I cld not take my eyes off his sweet, tender little face. His lids were trembling a little, as he was dreaming. I rmbr wondering what he cld possibly be dreaming about.
He then smiled. The tiniest, most beautiful bloom of smile. The absolute preciousness of it...it felt like a boon to me to have been able to see it.
The unthinkable happened.
I cried.
Me, I'm going bonkers. Somebody call the madhouse for me, pls?

My sister sent me, among her clients/associates, this email:
Have an absolutely
FLAMBOYANT
Deepavali!
With Warmest Wishes,
****** Pte Ltd
And I replied:
Flamboyance? The notion is entirely alien to me as I am sadly NOT deprived of your presence. MUAHAHAHAHA!
Dhanya
And she retorts:
A big 'BYE THERE!' to your nonsense!
All the very best in your pursuit to grow your lips! Ha, ha, ha!
Love,
Vidhya Edathi
Man do I belong to a weird family. *rolls eyes*
Anyways, I got a top today! It's a pretty, green long v-neck with brown lace and some shiny stuff. Here it is!

Jay liked it and so did I, so I got it! :-D Oh oh, and I've been searching for weeks for a big, comfy bag that I can throw things into and carry with almost any outfit. And I FINALLY got it! (yes Sindhu, I did!) Jay did some bargaining for me and got it $2 down. (I love you Jay!!) So, $16 for a bag. Not bad at all!

Halloween's come and gone, and all I did on that day was climb ladders and wipe walls and cupboards. I know, I was all excited abt dressing up foolishly and prancing abt but the thing is, I sorta forgot that Deepavali's the next day. I cld have forced my mom to let me stay out real late(amazingly pathetic, I know) on a normal day but staying out on Deepavali Eve is a big no no cos it's family time. So all I did was bitch to myself(and to Jay) and promise myself that next year, Halloween will be TOTALLY different. Now if the Hindu calendar decides on November 1st again for 2006's Deepavali, I'm gonna hunt them down(whoever they are) and castrate(I'm pretty sure they must be male) them.
I shall move on to brighter stuff!
I enjoyed Deepavali tremondously! It's weird how the arrival of the day always and automatically gives me such a good feeling; I feel warmth and fuzz in my stomach(and it's not just the rum cakes and the baking soda (I have no idea why and how, but this keeps becoming a link to a search for baking soda whenever I publish it. like wtf? is the same for you guys?) in the baked stuff). My sister put up flickering lights at our windows and they looked so pretty! I went to sleep with them flickering away on my smiling face on Deepavali eve. Absolutely love that feeling.
On Deepavali itself, we woke up and bathed and stuff and prayed, and finally got down to eat breakfast at abt noon. You might think it's just a once in a while thing, having a meal this late, but it's pretty normal behaviour for my family, y'know. We always have our meals late, and it's only once in a blue moon that we have them on time. There was once when my whole family sat down to a dinner of pizza and rojak and 1am. Weird shits, yeah?
Well anyways, we had an absolutely scrumptious breakfast of mutton curry and thosai(I LOVE that combo) wihle watching tv. The tv was on the WHOLE day and my mom didn't scream even once, at least, not abt the tv being on. Sweet, eh? So guests came, and guests went, and I spent a very lazy afternoon, waiting for the arrival of night, and ofcos, of Nan and Jay. I'm sorta used to waiting for Nan to come, y'know. I thought I was always late, but my god, she surpasses me by shitloads! I'm almost always late(yes, ALMOST always) but you can be sure(most of the time) that I won't be more than half an hour late. She, however, will be at least an hour late. You might say it's my karma catching up on me, but I don't really mind waiting for her...cos the rewards are great. *winks lecherously*
Jay came first(wearing lovely white cotton pants) at 7ish, bringing wajit with him. I loved it! His mom made it. Time to make friends with the lady, really. Good wajit. *floats in wajit-flavoured saliva* He sat down, and talked to my uncle whom Nan(who came a while later, wearing a gorgeous off-white netty-silky punjabi suit) had apparently worked with once. Small world, eh?
After they had dinner, we hopped over to Babu's place. I like his house; reminds me of the house I had in woodlands years ago. Miss that place. =( Oh well.
I had a really really mini-dinner there, just cld not eat. Too much rum cake! It was nice seeing Genie, Donkey, Babu and Prabu again. Bunch of whackjobs! Umm..very nice whackjobs at that. *gulps*
Nan's been waiting for ages to watch Chandhramukhi and they were showing it on tv, so we we decided to stay till the movie ended. Nan was freaked!!

Aren't you freaked too? Specially for you, Nanio. *smiles sweetly*

Nan and me, at Babu's house. Jay took this pic. I look like I've got something stuck up my arse. (Shut up, twinnie.) Weirdly, Nan looks like she's grabbing my boob.

Prabu took this. I look eww.

Ah...eye-candy! Madhu's sticking her tongue out at me.

She looks so beautiful in her traditional clothes!

Mrityun baby's anklet-clad feet. :-D
Ah, there are now a fresh batch of visitors in the house. Gotta go make tea. Toodle-loo!
P.S: Note to self: Plan for Halloween 2006.

I soaked my feet today! *somersaults*
Been wearing closed-toed shoes lots lately, and I've always felt a little uncomfortable at the thought of my sweaty toes smashed together and generating all sorts of bad smells. And when I'm abt to sleep, I wiggle my toes and imagine all the dirt accumulating and shudder. *shudders again*
So yep, a good long soak in hot soapy water, a trim, lotsa scrubbing and filing, and finally, an even longer soak in warm water and essential oils put my feet(and my tortured mind) to rest.
Oh crapp-io...mom's screaming.
Bleaurgh. Toodle-loo.

Changed my blogskin, AGAIN!
I was getting quite bored of my old one. Maybe when I get bored of this, I'll change to that one again. *scratches head and grins* I love the one I did for Sash though. Go see! It's all white-ish. After I completed it, I actually contemplating keeping it for myself and doing Sash a lousier one, but being the awfully sweet person I am, I gave it up for her. Oh my wretched conscience. *sniffles*
Oh well, I love this one too! :-D

I've got 3 whole days off. Marvy, huh?
OH YES IT IS!!
*somersaults*
Well. Anyway. It's the 2nd day and I don't really feel like going out or anything. Was supposed to watch Corpse Bride with Jay tonight but he had to go with his family to his uncle's place. Bleaurgh. But we're going tmr...probably. If not tmr, sunday. Cos I've work on saturday, till 10.30. Y'know, I actually like doing closing. It's just more fun for everybody to close and change and stuff together(don't let your dirty mind wander. A cubicle each, WITH DOORS) and it gives me joy to announce to our 'dear shoppers' that we'd be closing in 15min time, and such. Also, when a wannabe-shopper knocks on the glass doors and mouths the qn that I love to be asked, that is, if we're closed, I tingle with pleasure to give him the answer that is YES, we ARE closed, you poor shit! And that, definitely, wld be accompanied by a bright, happy smile.
*smiles sunnily at the thought*
Ah, my sis wants me to go buy evapourated milk from the shop a block away. Upon being asked why she can't go get it herself, she says she just gave birth, which was almost 2 whole months ago. *rolls eyes* She says she'd give me $2 extra. Tempting, really. Now I can afford to get myself tmr's and the day after's newspapers. WOWEEE!
Oh well, she's been nice lately, so I shall oblige.

Jay's out of town for the weekend.
:(
Oh well. I'm just trying to keep myself occupied so that I don't miss him more than I already do, which is tons. That's not really gonna work though. Doesn't help that I'm not working this weekend. Sigh.
Went bowling today, and took loads of pictures. And I had lots of fun with the WPS gang! I was bullied loads but that was fun too...in a way. :-p
I shall blog more abt the day and post pictures up tmr. Feel really tired. Besides, got not much of a blogging mood.
No Jay.

Like I promised, here're the earrings!

The gold triangular pair! (DUH.)

The pinkish red mother-of-pearl ones! (DUH.)

A close up of the mother-of-pearl thingies!
Yep! Those are my new lovelies. :-D I can't wait to get more. Mmm.
Oh Seeeeenthoooo..... *wiggles eyebrows*
Oh, and here's a pic of twinnie and me that we took today at Whitesands. We coincedentally reached pasir ris at the same time and we were absolutely squealing with joy at the sight of each other!

I'm so happy for you, you stooooopid shit! :-D
When I reached home, Madhu was there! I saw her beautiful pink sandals at the doorsteps and squealed with joy, again! Boy, am I a squealing bimbo or what?
She snatched my phone away from me(as always) and started taking pictures of stuff. I have no idea where and how she learnt to navigate to the camera function in my phone, but sadly(for me), she's quite an expert in it.

That's me scratching my ass and Madhu's itty bitty thumb.
I owe you guys pics of Mrityun baby, so here they are!

=)
I got new earrings!!!!
A gold triangular pair and another darkish pink shiny pair with mother of pearl-like circular stuff! Sindhu was urging me to get the pink one. And so I did!! Oh, she and I got the same triangular ones!
*shakes ass*
I love EM!!!
I'll get pics of them up tmr. I know I always say that but don't post the pics up, but really! Tmr. :-D
*shakes ass once more*

I got a new phone some time ago, and it's a camera phone. I'm a complete camwhore now!!!

My latest vanity trip.

My latest vanity trip 2.

The very first picture I took of me with my phone. I was sitting on the toilet seat, bored shitless(pun not intended).

Jay took this pic of me eating those tako pachi bally things.

I shldn't be online now, cos I gotta leave in an hour or so for work. Knowing me, I'll procastinate the getting ready part till there's only abt 15min for me to leave. Bad habit! Jay shld know.
*ahem*
Moving on, Halloween's coming! I've sorta trashed the idea of trick or treating, cos I've got this feeling that trick or treating in singapore might lead to getting yourself arrested for being a nuisance or something to that effect. I have no idea what to do then, but I do know that I wanna dress up and be someone else and strut arnd a bit this 31st October! Anybody got any logical ideas? keyword:logical. Logic takes on a whole new connotation when it comes to me though, so actually, crazy/stupid ideas are welcome to! :)
