I didn't fall in love with the first gown I saw, but I did feel my heart do a happy little dance when I stepped into the second.
It. Is.
Beautiful. *sighs*

!!!!You do NOT know how happy I am! We didn't even have to search for long, y'know? Jay and I were on our way to Far East when we passed by this bridal store near Arab St. So we did a u-turn and decided to give it a try since we had to start our hunt somewhere. An hour (or less?) later, he's paying the deposit for a suit and gown. :-D
I absolutely cannot wait to see my gown again. It's thick, off-white satin, full-skirted with embroidered lace. Oh oh, the button-up is studded with pearls, just like a classic wedding dress. While Jay was trying on his suit, I was holding my gown to my body, swaying and watching the dreamy-eyed girl in the mirror. I felt bliss, and that's when I knew I had to get it. I didn't care that I'd not seen enough gowns to sensibly decide, cos that gown was properly and obviously mine.
Ofcos, the fact that it's of an extremely reasonable price was a deciding factor. :-D
Oh! I suppose I shld talk abt Jay's suit. I know noone gives a flying bat's tail abt how the groom looks (unless you're his gay best friend), but being his wife-to-be, I shld give him importance, which means I MUST let you know of his fashion choices for our R.O.M. Off-white coat and pants to match. We've to get him a good cotton shirt in pure white, and light brown shoes
(shiny, and I mean it, Mister!!)Next up, invites. They're gonna be adorable and quite unique. Very personal too, cos they'll all be done by the both of us. You can now look forward to receiving them!
On an entirely different note, I'm gonna see
Russell Peters live!! Like Sindhu said earlier, November '08 seems to be a pretty good month. :-D
